What could've been improved and the lost potential in Equestria Girls

This topic could already be here but, i just wanted to speak my mind. There was definitely some lost potential in Equestria Girls, an example of this probably the backstory of Sunset Shimmer, I feel it wasn't fleshed out enough and the final act was honestly sorta meh to me considering they could've at least made it just a tad bit more interesting. Then again, that's just me, what do you think could've been improved in Equestria Girls?

I personally loved Equestria Girls, I mean, I don't think I'll watch it again, but it was very entertaining.The artwork was great, the whole story arc of trying to be "Princess of the Dance" actually worked for what it was trying to do.My only gripe is the love interest, it just felt like it was forced for the sake of the story.But overall I think it fulfilled its potential.But thats my opinion.

Sunset Shimmer should've been given a lot more development, explaining more about her history with Celestia and make her plan sound less idiotic. Also would've made her less bitchy and more sadistic

 

Also I would've either killed off Flash Sentry or made him evil, I dunno which sounds better, so I'd probaby go with both

I feel the same Sunset should have been a lot better and I'm still hoping that she comes back as a villain because she has a lot of potential.

 

Also, yeah just take out Flash he added nothing to the plot and only took up screen time which could have been used for something better.

 

Last but not least, the ending could have been a lot better. Watching it I found that it didn't end it kinda just petered out to the credits.

As cruel as it may sound, I actually would have liked to see the more of that fight between everyone before they made up (i.e. RAINBOW DASH SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THAT ROOM!!!)  

 

I really liked the whole plot point of the 5 drifting apart and hating each other and I actually would have liked to see Hasbro and DHX push their limits to see exactly how mad they all were at each other.  As it stands, it's still the perfect setup for Twilight to get her crown back, but I wonder just how far they could have taken it.

I can say I loved the movie, except for one thing. During the Sunset Shimmer Demon Thing battle, RD and FS both spawned wings. And they didn't even say "wow look i got wingz so awsum" or something. They just accepted they had grown wings somehow.

It may seem like a really weak point for not giving the movie a 10/10, but hey, who cares?

I think what should have been improved was, more development for Sunset Shimmer and more interaction from Twilight like going around the school and actually communicating with the other students besides the Mane 6 and Shimmer.

I don't think there would need any improvement in the movie. I absolutely loved it. Though, I think they should have more focus on the background characters.

The creators squeezed the concept for all it was worth. The concept didn't really contain much in the way of potential, but what was there was used. To be much improved, it would've had to be a different movie.
