Most evil teams in the pokemon universe have been known to use pokemon for their devious means. Of course, Team Plasma from the Unova region is no exception. They seek to take over the Unova region. This time, though, they're attacks are more underground, and undercover. They simply approach trainers traveling to Unova, with a method to make their pokemon stronger then ever before. Most of the citizens in Unova are aware of this, but they have no ideas as to how to stop it. Or what Plasma's intent is, in the first place.

The authorities do not know what is making all these pokemon so powerful. Nor do they know how to identify them, due to the lack of a distinct energy trace. On top of that, there appears to be a distinct lack of wild pokemon. The ones around seem distrustful of people, and quite sad.

This information has not been very available to trainers from other regions, unless they're informed by locals, or have existing strong bonds with their pokemon. This means Team Plasma's numbers have grown significantly. These trainers don't appear to be part of Team Plasma, as they don't wear the regular uniform, or an uniform at all.

You, as a trainer about to challenge the gyms in Unova, have been having odd dreams where a song is the only thing that's heard. Said song suddenly ends in a disjointed tune. It's probably just a dream, though...

Rules

1. All regular forum rules apply, obviously.

2. No godmodding. While you may choose if an attack hits your pokemon or not (Make sure you're reasonable though!), only I may choose what attacks hit your enemy. As far as battles between two players, same rules apply. Just make sure you're reasonable.

3. No Mary Sues (duh).

4. You may only start with up to two pokemon, native to the region you're from. They must be not evolved pokemon as well... But some exceptions may be made. Just ask me.

5. This should remain PG 13, as that's the age limit for these forums. I don't mind swearing and romance, but don't overdo it, either.

6. If you'll be away for a bit, due to vacation, let me know. Depending on where we are in the story, I may control your character.

7. Good grammar is a must. If you have issues making sense at times, that's fine, but if I see no capitals... I get upset. Default font is also necessary.

8. Let me know when you want to change moves of any pokemon.

9. Have fun, dammit.

Personality: Swablu is really sweet. I don't battle with him very much, mostly because he's nowhere as strong as Oddish. He's also a bit timid.

Notes

This roleplay takes place after the events of Black and White 2. Though a specific date is not available.

I sometimes have issues with making sentences that make complete sense. So if you're unclear on something, just ask.

If you want to start with a Unova starter, as said, please leave both pokemon slots blank. That'll be sorted out at the start of the roleplay.

Wild pokemon count as NPCs. That said, please wait for a DM post before doing anything in a new location, other then taking to other players. No wild pokemon will attack, so feel free to ignore or approach any. You'll receive a pokedex entry telling you all needed info when a new pokemon is caught.

AND NO I CAN'T THINK OF GOOD TITLES. BE QUIET.

Current News and Happenings

Both Undella Town and Humilau City are inaccessible via the ocean or flight. It's only possible to get to them by foot.

Well, they'll really only give starters to those with no pokemon whatsoever. So I don't really think that is doable, sorry.

I don't like fluffy Pokemon, I hate any sort of congregation that has the gall to call itself a "team", and once you get to know me it doesn't get a whole lot better. I'd say my one redeeming quality is the unswerving happiness to pound anyone who bugs any of my buddies.

Have you travelled anywhere else before? I have some experience with battling, (I sometimes challenge the gyms of cities I'm doing shows in) but I'd rather just take the little guys on road trips. I uh... I made a trainer card for Locke. Cuz I'm weird like that. I actually found a character that looks exactly how I imagined him, except he will have glasses andd the jacket will be a forest green. I also changed his battling experience to show that he got beaten by Claire tons of times instead of Blue. Cuz I realized that he would have had to beat the whole Johto League and most of the Indigo League to even fight Blue >.<

Sounds good, except I think Brick Break might still be a bit much. Rock Smash would be the suitable similar move for now, I think. Or Focus Blast would be fine too. Heracross really doesn't learn enough fighting type moves. :V
