Frankenshy

Welp, seeing as my last fanfic was kinda a flop because it was a My Little Dashie type of story, I guess I've left it behind to start new things. This is one of those things. I at least have the descriptive paragraph written up.

 

After knowing each other for years and becoming closer with one another, Tristan loses Fluttershy in an accident. But he cannot get past losing her. He needs his mare beside him. So, he does the unimagineable...

 

He brings her back.

 

How will their friends and families deal with this? Will the town come to accept the 'new' Fluttershy? How will the two of them deal with Shy's new lifestyle? And, most importantly... How will Fluttershy be affected by the entire ordeal?

 

Based on the movie Frankenweenie by Tim Burton, and a son from the Frankenweenie Unleashed soundtrack, "My Mechanical Friend," by Grace Potter with The Flaming Lips.

 

Tell me, is this a good idea? Or, if you think some things need to be changed, give me some suggestions.

It's certainly different, I'll give ya that.  Certainly would never peg Fluttershy for being the "Frankenstein Monster" so to speak in a MLP/Frankenstein/Frankenweenie crossover.  I think if you manage to write it well without making any Mary Sues/Gary Stus, then you've got quite a promising and unique premise going for ya.  Just gotta execute it well is all.  Hope this helps, and good luck if you decide to pursue this premise!

well, my entire idea was to get the most unsuspected mare in all of equestrian, have something happen to her, bring her back, and then see exactly how the poor thing would deal with being part undead, part robot. and the mare that I thought would fit the bill was fluttershy.

bah, self inserts are fun, you can't say that you wouldn't write something starring you and your favorite pony. everyone has tried to once in their life, and, while they may not have posted it, they have succeded in at least trying to get it done.

thanks. i'll make sure to make it interesting enough. (I hope, at least.) trying to think up a good way to begin the first chapter now.
