TheSupremeLeaderOfChaos 1,206 July 23, 2013 Share July 23, 2013 I would slightly surprised when I found out you watched a kid's show, but, if you're a nice person, yeah, I'd probably still date you. Then, when you showed me the show, I'd fall in love with it, so by then it wouldn't matter if you were a brony or not. But yes, I'd still give you a chance. I like a lot of kids' shows, so it would be cool to have a boyfriend who didn't think they were all stupid. Signature made by- Kyoshi Make sense? TotalNeon 72 July 24, 2013 Share July 24, 2013 Before I became a Pegasister, I had already decided that Bronies were actually okay people I used to make fun of them sometimes, jokingly, but I've never ever had a problem with them as people. I would have had no problem dating a Brony even before I became a Pegasister, as long as they weren't a clopper Want your OC drawn for free? LightsCameraAction 100 July 24, 2013 Share July 24, 2013 So, I am a guy, and I have been reading through this thread, I have to give props to USMCbrony141 for making this thread. The more I read through it, the less hypothetical this question actually sounds.
DND 2,355 July 26, 2013 Share July 26, 2013 If I wasn't familiar with the show before I was in a relationship with a brony, then hell yes! He'd either convert me, or I would just accept that he'd like cute ponies and the fact that I already like stuff like that, even though I'm not particularly interested in the show. The thing is, you give everyone one a good chance. It's better to judge them by actions rather than interests.
Poerainbowdash 0 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 (edited) I'm New to these Forums, In fact, I just joined so I could reply to this thread! If anypony is still on this thread or still viewing it. Then this may be my response: I'm A Brony (Not a Pegasister) and I'm 14. I've had no Luck Finding somepony that will Love me as much as I Love her. But, That doesn't mean that anypony should give up, These people, These non - Pegasisters Don't know the full aspects and skills that you may have or may not have. All your telling them is "That I like Ponies"??!? Maybe start off with "Your" own Skills. for Example, Me: I'm A: Coder C++ Java Ipwn DNS IP/TCP Sourcemod Sourcepwn White HAAT Hacker Artist Computer Artist Drawer DJ Remixer AE Movie Effects PS Animator AP Adobe Specialist Gamer And Finally A Brony "If you know what I'm getting at" ~PoeDash Edited March 29, 2014 by Poerainbowdash
Kanrei 7 March 29, 2014 Share March 29, 2014 (edited) Can we really answer this question? I mean we like ponies, how could we imagine, how someone feels about MLP, who doesn’t like the show? Anyway, brony or not, I would need to love the person. And if their are some other interest in common, I think it could work. If their is not really common interest, it could get kinda problematic. If I imagine a would date a sport guy, I think this wouldn’t work out too good, I wouldn¨t like to watch sport shows with him or doing a lot of sport together. So that would surely be a problem then, I think. Sure, one does not need to have every interest in common and need to do everything together, but if one have totally opposing interest and get bored on the interest of the other person, I think it could be difficult. So I think, if one is not pegasister, similar problems could maybe occur. But like I said, it depends also on other interest of the person. Anyway, what is the problem with cloppers?I mean most men do clop to something, maybe not to drawn ponies, but would one feel better if they do it to women? Duster Dawnhorse 248 March 30, 2014 Share March 30, 2014 It depends. If I find someone who just happens to share my interests, awesome. I meet lots of people through various geeky subcultures so shared ground is inevitable. But at the same time, I don't want to end up in a situation where it's less about dating a good person and more about dating a fandom. And I don't care what you flip your dolphin to as long as I don't have to hear about it constantly or have it shoved in my face. Your kink is not my kink yadda yadda. *Not Available* 26 April 6, 2014 Author Share April 6, 2014 Well... It actually depends. If they are muscular, strong and fit... Well,of course I will definitely date him... But, If they are skinny, wimpy... No thank you ! I actually do not care much if they are a Brony or not... And besides... It will make them more lovable and more tolerable. I think I described said brony somewhere in the beginning of the comments.
Envy 6,170 April 7, 2014 Share April 7, 2014 Well, I'm not interested in men, but I can still try to give an answer: I would never not date somebody for merely watching this show. I mean, at least they're watching a cute show about ponies that I could see myself watching as well, instead of those countless yucky forensic or zombie TV shows that I'd have to leave the room when they're watching. However, if they exhibited any of the traits of the negative 'Brony' stereotypes such as being sexually attracted to cartoon ponies, being sexist, etc, then it would not work between us, ever. And sadly, those are the traits I think of when I think of Bronies. So, in all truth, I'd be cautious of anybody that called themselves a Brony. But I'd get to know them before writing them off, because the first paragraph still applies... 1 Everything needs more woodwind!
