He might not have to, if Stephan would stop being so impulsive, if he would just slow down to think about the aftermath of his actions.

You think he hasn't already?

He's about to tell Grand that he's moved on. He knows it might hurt her, but he'll get it off his chest.

But you said you're going to tell Grand how you feel about her. And Starburst is trying to convince him to give her space, just for tonight.

I just neighed at something. I'm too pony!

So I've decided to create something I like to call "episodes" in my posts. They're a series of recordings that span twenty to thirty recordings or "present day" posts. All of them will offer choices, choices that affect the ultimate fate of my OC and everyone else in the flashback.

There is no right or wrong.

Also, I need to clarify two things:

1. A Deus Ex Machina is not always bad, though it shouldn't be overused or used obviously to escape death. There are some cases where it's justified, like the Avatar series, Bleach, Final Fantasy, the Far Cry series, the Mass Effect series, heck, even MLP. But if you're going to make a Deus Ex Machina solution, make it justifiable, plot twisting, or otherwise on a cliffhanger.

The solution is not Deus Ex Machina when the situation is solved by logic, common sense, assistance, or critical thinking.

Example of non-Machina: Zeta is locked inside a room in which Steel is about the blow up with methane tanks. Desperately, he notices a suspiciously bolted wall. Remembering he had his "emergency" coins in his pocket, Zeta uses the bit quarters to unscrew the screws; as he takes off the concrete wall, he finds an air duct. His ticket out of here.

Also an example: Lady heard Zeta's muffled screams; in shock, she yells back to him. After some form of communication, Grand scans the room for a key, though she could not find one. Having little choice, she breaks her hairpin in half and uses it to pick the door's lock.

Chekhov's Guns and Chekhov's Skills do not count. If it's stated that Grand could pick locks or rig mechanical doors, it's not a Machina. If it's stated that she was holding a C4 that she took from a dead soldier and throws it on the door (but what about the shrapnel that'll accidentally hit Zeta?), then it's not a Machina.

2. I don't make long posts to condescend other people's skills. I do it because it's fun to write things, a lot of things. There's nothing wrong with making short posts, but it should be descriptive and reasonable so it doesn't cause BS.

I still don't understand why you need to put them in this RP thread. Why not put them on fimfiction, they could stand fairly well on their own merits as a story.
