Is it just me or am I the only one that has noticed that bronies get pushed around a lot thankfully this hasn't happened to me because I'm a closet brony but I do stand up for bronies getting bullied Do bronies get pushed away near you?

Because this topic hasn't been brought up about 100000 times.

Almost every brony gets pushed around by some person that doesn't like the idea of a couple people watching a show they don't watch.

It got old a long time ago.

No, some have tried but they don't win, I'm only 5"9, 210pounds and I'm a candy ass, but I know how to talk may way out of things and how to make people leave me alone, and if someone is getting picked on well I'll help them out! the trick is act crazy! about 2-3years ago I was at a party I was shit face fucking drunk, don't remember why but some pony wanted to fight me so we went outside and when we got outside I started to get naked. He just stood there looking at me, I got 100% naked and told him "Bring it on". He walked away..... anyway not saying get naked like I did but do something really crazy or just random! they well leave you alone for good...

Aside from the occasional stare and WTF reaction when I wear my Applejack or Twilight Sparkle shirts I haven't been picked on for being brony though much of this has to do with the fact that I am a 6 feet tall and weigh 350 pounds so they are probably afraid I will feed them their teeth if they try anything. I haven't really witnessed anyone get picked on either but I am sure it happened, I have heard quite a few horror stories about it many of them on these forums.

Yeah, bronies do get hate because people are too immature to accept the fact that someone is watching a show about talking, colorful ponies and likes it. So, haters bully the bronies because the bronies are "freaks" in their eyes. Misfits of society and whatever else they spout. The funny thing is that haters are describing themselves when they say those words.

My family as been rude about it from time to time, but now I don't even care what others think. I'm usually an angry/miserable/emotionless person so someone saying something rude to me doesn't have an effect anymore. I do know how to hold fierce grudges though.

Most of the people around me range from impartial to thinking it's cool. Even my mom likes it because having to buy my pony stuff as given me more self-esteem and made me less self-conscious.

That is weird, I don't like to be called a brony but if i think a show is good that doesn't make me any different from any other person? Lol it just so happens that MLP is a good show and I so happen to like it.. so what? Lol

I don't mind being called a brony myself but I think if more bronies/fans took this attitude there would be a lot less hate directed at them because the trolls wouldn't have any ammunition whatsoever.

Eh. I don't really care. I've been picked on a little bit but I don't do anything about it. In fact, more often than not, I get told that my interest rocks or they think I'm brave for wearing a shirt in public. I just smile and move on. Or if someone bugs me about it I just don't respond to them and walk away.

Brony? I prefer the term a connoisseur who enjoys the company of Pastel colored equines

Anyway, this isn't new thing, and it's been brought up a lot

But honestly it doesn't change anything in my life, I already hate people In general.

I was always the shy guy, but a bit chaotic inside. The bad guys never noticed it until it was too late, then they cried, yelling at me that I was crazy for such a violent reaction.

Anyways, most of people tend to say that I'm an angel due my kindness. Though I can't completely agree with that.

Actually I'm at the end of my career, into new social environments. So I don't get into that many fights as I used to. Though always felt so good when they looked at me thinking I was weak due to my emo look. I was already grinning into myself.

So yes, I used to track the "bad" guys, smash their ego into pieces, physically or psychologically. And then teach them to keep their pain inside, instead of using it to hurt others. Then the bullied guy used to thank me. Nobody cared about them.

I can't stand such selfish acts. So Whatever was the reason, I always get myself into to deal with the problem. Therefore almost always I've turned myself into a violent person to help somebody. But it's 'cause that kind of behavior tend to bring out the worst in me.

Apologies for my english, it isn't my first language.

I personally haven't been picked on. I don't have any merchandise sadly :( so I can't wear MLP stuff to school.

My cousins just look at me weird when I watch the show in front of them or sing songs when they're around.

One of my little cousins is actually starting to take an interest in the show so soon HE WILL BECOME ONE OF US MWAHAHAHA!! That is if he's really that interested or it's just out of boredom, in return he's trying to get me into One Piece which I guess so far is pretty good.

What can I say to them...

This:

my-little-pony-meme-generator-haters-gon

And I was like "Buck yeah, Haters gonna Hate, Ponies gonna Pwn, what are going to do?"

After that, they we're like:

mlp_wtf_are_you_talking_about__by_jhyrac

It proves that such simple easy words, such as that, could kick them back off to WTF-Land!

If you show no emotion at all, they get bored fast and will most likely leave/stop. No one really has the nerve to pick on me accept dumb people.

Well people are scared of change, we should let them be, anti-bronies are nothing more than people who try to defend themselves with mean comments, just joke around with them or ignore there remarks, and they will stop defending themselves and they will think of us as just another person, or become fans themselves.

It's such a sad thing that some young men (in my experience) are so horrified by anything that isn't manly that they will spill their hatred on anyone who doesn't live up to their expectations of what a man should act like.

I'm a guy and I gave up on being "manly" a long time ago since trying to fit myself into a manly man's shoes woud mean cutting mysel off from everything I hold dear. I couldn't play videogames, have discussions about academic subjects, colour my hair, show emotions or even watch a show with a heart-warmingly positive message like My Little Pony. I would be allowed to spit in public, belittle anyone different, watch sports and drink heavily whilst bottling up my emotions and turn them into hatred and frankly that's not a life I want.

No, My Little Pony taught me a valuable lesson, be yourself and be proud of it, the friends you gather from doing the things you love are the ones who will stick by you when it really matters.

If people bash bronies it just seems to me that they're just people who struggle to find things that make themselves happy, meaning anyone who has those things should be made to feel the same way they do.

All I can suggest is to show these people a little tolerance and understanding and if they insist on pestering you, choose not to interact with them rather than let it get you down.

Just never stop being yourself and be proud to be a brony.
