Luna's Night Sky

Sometimes, Luna enjoys a good flight across Equestria just to take the time to appreciate her night sky. If there's one thing she's learned during her 1,000 years on the moon, it's that it doesn't really matter if any pony else enjoys her work. She does, and ultimately that's all that matters.

If and when others admire her sky, well-- that's just icing on the cake.

 

This was inspired by the long awaited, Children of the Night video. It was definitely worth the wait.

 

Some technical stuff:

This was done completely in Easy Paint Tool: SAI. Elapse time was about 7 hours, give or take.

That's one gorgeeous sky, one of these days I'm gonna have to learn how to do digital art...

 

 

Erm, anyway:

-Luna's right forehood look a bit too sall

-the folds of the hood could use some ssmoothing, theyey make the fabric look a bit to thin

-the left wing looks kinda broken

-the blue outline around the moon seems bit too...blue
