PlNKlE PIE 364 February 22, 2012 Share February 22, 2012 Looky, bonus clips! 6 "Well," said Pooh, "what I like best—" and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called. Kodiak 431 February 22, 2012 Share February 22, 2012 (edited) Looky, bonus clips! http-~~-//www.youtube.c...a96FUAAAAAAAAAA "HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A MAN?!" God, Yaplap is freakin' awesome. I especially loved the way that one guy put it: "We are transcending gender stereotypes." Best brony quote I've heard. Maxey 13 February 22, 2012 Share February 22, 2012 I admit (being a teenager myself) that I initially dismissed MLP as a kids show but I didnt judge people for liking it. Although the intro really isnt a good thing to base your oppinion of the show on. 1 Im a guitarist who is writing pony songs amongst other things http://ciaranmaxey.minus.com/ <----I will post all produced pony music here http://www.youtube.com/user/CiaranMaxey/videos <---All produced music+live covers and demos http://soundcloud.com/ciaranmaxey <---All music including the crappy stuff
SpiceandSword 10 February 23, 2012 Share February 23, 2012 It's not that I hate the kids or anything, but some of them were slightly annoying. Like the kid with the highlights in his hair on the bonus video. And admit it. Everyone here wants a "Teens React to Bronies React to Teens React to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
Proailurus 214 February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 Wow, I'm embarrased to be a person because of those teens, and I'm younger than them. I mean the intro is the girliest part (I mean all you see is a bunch of colorful ponies and unicorns and rainbows, and some girly song about friendship, not too manly, lol) but seriously. Yeah, sure, I brohoof with my foot all the time. >.< Hilarious vid =P I used to watch kids react but the people were so... urk. And I'm the same age as some of them, lol 1 Sorry about the temporary lack of signature, I have changed my name, so I need a new one.

Doc Blacksmith 0 February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 People can miss out on a lot of good things when they don't give something new a chance. Many teenager "Define" themselves by their hobbies and interests, so I was a little surprised by some of the negativity. Oh well, one less in line for pony goodness. Anatra 1 February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 I saw the original video, and your guys' response to it, and figured I would throw in my 2 cents. Please note that I am not a brony, have not watched a single episode of MLP:FiM, and have an overall neutral opinion of them (you). I am posting this message to try to help you, as a community understand my thoughts and opinions from the perspective of someone from outside the community. Anyhow, onwards: RE: the original teens react video From what I understand, the kids DID in fact watch an entire episode, and NOT just the opening sequence. I too, felt that the kids were being a bit judgmental, but then again, they are kids. The FineBros were a bit ignorant (with their whole thing about how the only thing they do is post pictures all over the internet) and seemed to not really have any real idea as to what a "brony" is or what they do (not that I really have any idea after watching your response video). RE: Your reaction/response video overall well done I was impressed that you were able to coordinate efforts between everybody, so kudos to the creator for that. the screaming pony was, while funny at times, not really appropriate for what you guys were trying to do. I would have gone with either 2 separate version (including and excluding the screaming pony), or just not include him at all. having it in there just made me NOT want to watch an episode, and made me think that bronies are just plain crazy psychos. At times, I found it ironic that you were knocking on the kids for being judgmental, and yet here you are judging them all (with the comments about one of the kids being gay) while it would be interesting to see what they have to say about your video, I don't want this to turn into an endless cycle of everyone reacting to reactions of reactions of reactions of reactions (e.g. teens react to bronies react to teens react to bronies react ...to teens react to MLP:FiM) regardless of what their next move is (if they post a video response or not), I would say you guys should just drop it. Show that you are not going to drop down to their level. You made your points, and if they don't change their minds, then let them bask in their ignorance. TL;DR: teens are ignorant, screaming pony was bad idea (IMHO).
Osaka Bomb 39 February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 I had mixed feelings about this video. I mean, for the most part I do love it because it does defend the show very well. But there were a few parts where it did kind of dissolve into just hating and mocking, which irked me a little. Though, the Solrac portion did make me chuckle. I won't lie. For the most part, it's a good video for pointing out the flaws of the Teens React episode, such as the misinformation and slight misrepresentation of MLP itself. It really is difficult to get an accurate reading of a show based on just the opening credits. I did like Devin, though. He was awesome. There were things they didn't show in this video, which was some of the kids who didn't like My Little Pony or thought Bronies were weird giving their messages to Bronies, telling them to just keep doing what they're doing. One of them did say, "Keep doin' what you're doin', I'm not gonna judge" or something like that. I wish they included that in the video as well to balance it out, since it does show that some of them were open-minded to Bronies even if they weren't into the show itself. Otherwise, this is a good companion video. But those are my minor complaints.

I have to admit the screaming pony was a bit annoying and made the video seem overreactive. If they seriously saw a whole episode, they're just too insane to look past the minor girliness give the damn show a chance. That would be stupid and judgemental. Although I can't really blame them if they only saw the intro, lol. 1 Sorry about the temporary lack of signature, I have changed my name, so I need a new one. Although it is good to have an outsider inside to give us perspective on what the "normal" or non-bronies think of us. I was wondering when someone would bring that up. I got here after a google search for "teens react to bronies" to see if there was a video of them reacting to you. Also, since bronies were saying that the kids didn't see the entire episode and just the intro, i figured I would address that and other concerns that were brought up in this thread. Plus, I kinda wanted to see if everyone else found the screaming pony equally as obnoxious as I did. Edited February 25, 2012 by Anatra

Daring Do 195 February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 The few people who did watch the intro pretty much summarize the different sections of the population and what they think of the show. As for the brony comments, I agree with them with almost every reaction. It is nice to see Bronies actively participating in the community to spread influence! Great adventuring for great treasures!....Except when I'm hurt...
