Chivalry heard the message and formed a bubble around himself, which then allowed him to float to the Canterlot Castle. He made it there and rushed inside the castle, it looked as though that almost everypony was already there. He looked around and observed his comrades. Then he turned his attention to Luna. "Whats the problem princess?" Chivalry had forgotten about telling Minath what happened in the forest.

Luna: Good looks like everpony is here, I have found Caras, he made a mistake and used magic without casting his clocking and I managed to trace his signature back to the summit of the foal mountains. That's is where you will find him, be carful, there are constent sonow storms this time of year so stay on alert. Move fast before he figures out you are coming."

 

Luna was sure that they had got him this time and that he had no chance of escaping.

Tempest heard what Luna said. "There's no way Caras would reveal his location." He thought. The cyan pegesus sighed and shrugged it off. "i guess I'm just a little paranoid." Tempest then flew out the palace, towards the goal mountains.

 

Dark glanced at Luna and nodded. She then followed Tempest.

Sole was suspicious with good reason "there's no way that prick would be so careless as to make suck an ametuer move like that... what's he planning?" He mumbled, before taking off ahead of the others "I'll scout ahead!" He lied. His real goal was vengance, and a rematch with caras. "If this is a trap... its best if I spring it instead of my friends." He said to himself.

Chivalry didn't look at Sole, but yelled out to him. "If your thinking of going to fight him alone, then you'd better just give up now." Chivalry turns to Sole who was just about to fly away. "We cannot beat him unless we work together, trust me Iv'e learned this already." Chivalry puts his head down in shame, but then looks back up at Sole. "So unless you want to die, it would be best that you stick with us, ya?" Chivalry hoped for the response that he is looking for.

Tempest landed on the peak of the Foal mountains. "Where are you?" He thought to himself. His aura then surrounded him, He knew that if he wasn't careful, Xena would take over, and that wasn't good for either side.

 

Dark landed next to Tempest and got ready to fight. "This ends now." She thought.

Chivalry didn't look at Sole, but yelled out to him. "If your thinking of going to fight him alone, then you'd better just give up now." Chivalry turns to Sole who was just about to fly away. "We cannot beat him unless we work together, trust me Iv'e learned this already." Chivalry puts his head down in shame, but then looks back up at Sole. "So unless you want to die, it would be best that you stick with us, ya?" Chivalry hoped for the response that he is looking for.

sole brushed passed him "sorry chivalry, but that's not my style. I gave my life to immenent death the moment i was born... I was born to fight, to battle, and to die. And if I can choose, i'd like to die doing what i love... fighting worthy opponents, and protecting my friends." He said, as he flew away.

Caras was hidding in the snow using his magic to see around the entire area, he cast his clock spell this time to prevent himself from being spotted. He sensed to presence of Tempest and Dark, and all the others close behind them. Using telepathy he called to Dark Heart. "Ok, its go time, you send out your darkling but do not kill them, only distract untill I say stop. I will sneak up on one of the lessers, one we have not seen in a while, maybe that, aura feather. Ok that is who I will go for. When ever you are ready." Caras waited for the Darkling to be sent out to distract them all while he went for aura.

Tempest glanced at Dark and sighed. He didn't want anypony to be near him, if his other side were to take over. The cyan pegesus then shrugged and began to meditate. The strange thing was, he couldn't detect Caras's aura. "I guess that makes sense, seeing as how he's a demon." He thought.

Dh nodded and finished summoning Chrmosh. He towered as big as some of the mountains, but was undetectable unless he moved. She waited for a signal from Caras to let him loose upon the others. Chrmosh would eat well, a battle-worn soul was worth ten of regular, peasant souls.

Minath flew to the foal mountains, trusting Luna entirely. She landed, her armor growing cold. She waited for the others to arrive at the base of the mountain, the storms up above were to fierce to fly into.

Chivalry sighed "That fool, he's going to get himself killed. All well, guess I better go too." Chivalry left for the Foal Mountains, 'With this much help, they can't possibly stand up against us.' Chivalry thought to himself. 'I mean, there are only two of them, Caras and Stardust. Should be easy enough...' Chivalry had no idea about DH.

As he was rushing towards the mountains, he couldn't help but to think about more of what happened during the battle in the forest. 'Alright then, so from what I can contemplate. It seems Caras is a fair type of fighter, he also likes to fight old-school. In this case, if we were all to not use magic when fighting him, we could be at a big advantage. However, i don't know if he will only accept those terms if he is fighting one or multitudes of us... Next, we have Stardust. She seems to have quite the past and now her mind is corrupt because of it. There doesn't seem like there would be any way to change her back to good... but what about manipulation of the tongue... hmm. Then there's that strange light pony who claimed to be a god. She seems pretty harmless, however I know nothing about her, only her name and that she can be summoned upon calling her name. I guess this will be good if I ever get extremely injured, I can just call her to heal me. But who is she really? She basically just popped up out of no where. I think I may have come up with a plan, however I would need everyponys help.' Chivalry thought deeply to himself, he has almost arrived at the foal mountains.

He started thinking more about his team now. 'Alright then, let's see are team mates abilities. That is, from what I can understand. First off is Minath, she recently just became princess and knows everything Celestia once did. Also, she claims that she knows more about battle strategy than magic, but that doesn't mean that her magic hasn't increased dramatically in power. She must know tons of spells that no-pony else would ever dream to know. She also seems kinda cute... Next is Tempest, he seems a bit weird to me, however, I can sense that he is very powerful. He mentioned that he has some sort of aura, I guess that that's his main power source. But he also stated that it takes him over, I guess. So guess we gotta makes sure that, that doesn't happen. Now there's Tempest's partner, Dark. I basically know nothing about her, however I do know a bit about dragons. They tend to have highly durable and protective scales. They have the power to fly and breath flames that can melt metal. She could be a great asset during battle. Next is Sole, he seems a bit arrogant and reckless, however he has a good heart and is very courageous. He also seems powerful. However, that's basically all i know about him rather than the fact that he's a griffon. After that is Crimson, He seems to have a pretty high temper, however that is not always a bad thing. It seems like his temper drives him, and makes him stronger. He knows some good flame type spells. I'd also bet that his blade is not just for show. He must be good with the sword, but is he good enough to equal Caras? Next is Aura, I really don't know anything about her, and it seems that she had been doing the least around here, I wonder if she's even up to fight. However, there was that one incident in Tartarus... Last but not least, there's me. Chivalry Knight, I know alot about our enemy and what there capable of, I have fought and survived Caras, but sadly lost. I have alot of intel on energy bubble type spells and know how to wield a sword skillfully with my magic, my only fault is that I can't use it skillfully using my hooves. Out of all of us, I probably have the most strongest sword in equestria sheathed on my back right now. It is engraved with Luna and Celestia's pure magic. I honestly can't believe it slipped past Luna when I was close to her. Anyway, It would have the power to defeat Caras, IF I KNEW HOW TO WORK THE DARN THING! -sigh- anyway, I'm basically here.' Chivalry stand atop the base of the foal mountains, he see's Minath, but just barely off in the distance.

"AAAYE, MINATH, OVER HERE, ITS ME, CHIVALRY!!!" Chivalry yells out loud, hoping that Minath could hear him.

Tempest glanced at Chivalry and shrugged. He then started to meditate. "You might want to get ready, Xena." He thought.

 

The aura beast simply laughed and nodded. "I was born ready for this." He said. "I doubt that you'll win, without my full power, though."

 

The cyan pegesus sighed and nodded. "If that is what it takes, then I'll let you take control." He said. Tempest was then surrounded by his aura.

Dark shook from the cold and breathed out a bit of fire. "Couldn't they have fought us somewhere else?" She thought. The dragoness wasn't particularly fond of the cold, due to her being cold-blooded, but she didn't complain. The worst that could possibly happen would be her reaction time to slow down.

Sole arrived at the foal mountains and began to look around for caras while he flew above his friends, circling them hundreds of feet in the air. "Damn that caras trying to hide again. And here I thought I found somepony else who likes fighting almost as much as me. Oh we'll, guess that just means I have annother reason to kick his ass... Especially with the new ability I learned." He thought to himself.

Tempest sensed Sole's aura somewhere above him and sighed. "I wish they weren't here." He thought. "I know that I'll need their help, though." The cyan pegesus then felt his aura surround him. He could also feel his hold over his body weaken, but that didn't scare him. He had come to terms with Xena, even if they still argued occasionally.

The time for waiting was over, it was time to strike, hard and fast. Using telepathy Caras contacted Dark heart, "Now is the time, but first I want you to kill the weak one aura feather. She needs to die first then you can summon your darkling. Cut her throat, but make sure it is blood loss that kills her". Caras waited and watched the ponies, who where compeatly un-awar that one was about to die.

 

((Ok now we just need to wait on dark heart and then, big fight battle scene))

DH nodded and had Chrmosh stand still. She decided to use Ifirit to kill the one called Aura. Even though DH's body was strong and her mind stronger from summoning Darklings, she wasn't very good with a blade. She turned to Ifirit.

 

"Kill the one called Aura. Cut her throat, but make it public. You may take her soul after her friends have abandoned her body."

 

"Yesss misstresss." Ifirit said, drawing out the yeses, her forked tongue made it so she couldn't. Ifirit the disappeared into the darkling realm, searching for the one called Aura.

 

((@@Mint Drop,  In your next post mention coming to the mountain, then DH will hill Aura in the post after yours. Good?))

Minath teleported next to Chivalry, then stuffed her hoof in his mouth.

 

"Are you crazy?! We have no idea where the enemy is and you go around yelling!!" She said in a loud, aggravated whisper. She took her hoof out of his mouth.

 

"Now what excuse do you have for this lapse of idiocy?" She asked sounding like a mother scolding a child.

Aura hadheard Luna speak, and immediately flew above the castle after she dismissed them, looking around.

"if i'm correct, the Foal Mountains should be..."

She remembered the location and flew. 

She arrived at the summit and saw that the others were there. She didn't really know anypony, and she only sort of knew Minath, but she was talking to Chivalry, so she just landed near the group and looked around.

Tempest stopped meditating and stood up. "I'll go look ahead." He said, looking at Minath and Chivalry. The cyan pegesus then climbed higher on the mountain.

 

Dark noticed Tempest leave and sighed. "Be careful, please." She thought, worried about her adopted father.

"Eh, sorry about that. It's just that I need some quick advice on this sword. As in, how is one supposed to fully activate its power?" Chivalry said as he gave a surprised but confused look on his face. "Iv'e tried activating it myself when I snuck away to fight Caras myself, however it failed horribly... Oh wait, you don't know about that do you?"

Caras was listening in on minath and Chivalry and noticed that Chivalry was asking about activating the full power of the sword, if that happened it may slightly turn the tabels. Using telepathy he contacted DH. "There is not time left, your darkling must kill aura now, trust me, it is important that this happens at once". Caras was getting nervous, the power in that sword riveled his own, but they had somthing they would never guess.

"Well, first you have to..." Minath said, but was distracted when something appeared behind Aura.

"Aura, watch out!" Minath yelled, even though Aura was right next to her. Minath was too late though, and she saw the thing slice open Aura's throat with what appeared to be a whip.

 

"Oh no no no noooo..." Minath chanted to herself as Aura's body fell, splattering blood on the white snow. Aura had minutes left at best. Minath was too distracted to notice that the thing that had killed aura sunk into the ground once again.

DH smiled as she felt through the connection herself and Ifirit shared that Aura had been killed. She assumed that Caras had seen what Ifirit had done. DH replayed the death of Aura in her mind, being allowed to do so by the contract Ifirit and herself shared. She reached out to Caras through her mind.

 

"Shall I release Chrmosh now? The one called Aura has been disposed of."

Tempest glaned at where Aura's body laid and sighed. "It's started." He thought, as his aura surrounded him. The cyan pegesus then gor into a fighting stance.

 

Dark sighed as she noticed Aura. "They're here." She thought to herself, before noticing Tempest getting ready to fight.

Chivalry watched as Aura's body laid there bleeding out. His eye's widened and his heart filled with rage. "C-c-c..." Chivalry shut his eyes and screamed out. "CARAS! YOU WILL PAY, YOU HEAR ME!!! I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY LIFE, I SWEAR IT ON MY SOUL. I WILL DESTROY YOU!" Chivalry's words echoed threw the thick snow. Chivalry's body was twitching with rage. 'First you take Celestia, now you take Aura. How many more Caras? How many more must die before your rein comes to an end!' Chivalry thought to himself. "Minath! I hate to break it to you but she's done. We have more important matters at hoof, one of which is that you still have to tell me how this thing works and quickly!" Chivalry was trying to get Minath to pay attention to him instead of the fallen ally.

Minath nodded, but still held Aura in her arms.

 

"You...you have to *sniffle* focus your whole being into the sword, make it part of your being, then it will work. I learned how to, but few master it their first try. I'm s-s-sorry that you more likely than not won't succeed your first time." Minath said, but never looked away from Aura's fallen body.

 

I could've helped her... done something... she trusted me with bettering herself and bringing her magic under control. Her mind... body... soul... all laid out on the snow in crimson.

Tempest noticed Minath mourning over Aura, and put a hoof on her shoulder. "You can't blame yourself for her death." He said. "We need you to stay focused." The cyan pegesus then flew into the air and began to scan the area. "Xena, you ready?" He thought.

 

The aura beast simply laughed darkly and nodded. "I am." He said. "As long as Minath doesn't use that spell on us when I help you fight Caras, and whatever other demon he has with him, then I doubt we'll lose."
