Chivalry made it to a secluded place deep inside the Everfree forest. He unlocked the holster and unsheathed his blade. "Alright, now how do I activate the power within the blade?" Chivalry tried looks for an encryption or something on the blade to make it activate. "Let's see, hmm, nope nothing. There has to be someway I can activate it's magic, then Caras will have to follow the strong magical energy it gives off." Chivalry tries to swing the sword, and say a few magical chants that he knew but nothing seemed to work.

Stardust watched as Caras link up with one of the ponies in the group. After he had spoken to her she had just nodded and left. She couldn't contain her music for much longer and she needed to fix it.

Stardust walked and flew through many tunnels and caverns until she got to her calm room. It was filled with all the memories that she had as a happy filly. The memories of silence. She had stored part of her conscious in bottles when she realised that she was losing herself to time and the madness, this was the only way to preserve the stillness that her mind was like before. 

Stardust walked towards one of the bottles and opened the cork. Her separated conscious rose up and filled her mind, leaving it calm and quiet. She sighed, it had been at least a century since she had done that and it was good to be in control again.

Stardust left the room and headed back Caras, wondering if he explain his plan again to her, she didn't hear it before.

"So stardust, here is the plan, someone has went into the everfree forest, and from what I can tell from the connection I have made with his mind, its Chivalry Knight, he expects us to go to him, and I will, but first, I'm going to have a quick chat". Caras cast his clocking spell again and then his telepathy spell. "Chivalry, do you think I would leave your mind so simply, your the fool now knight, You let me in your head the first time, and now I can read all your thoughts, I can see what you see, I know what you know, and I know you are alone in the forest, I shall come to you, just as you asked, but that sword of yours will not be able to save you from my power. See you soon Chivalry. I hope you said goodbye."

Chivalry's eye's widened. "Darn it, I really am the fool, but Caras, you still dare to come? I WILL SLICE YOU IN HALF AND WE'LL THEN SEE WHO IS THE FOOLISH ONE HERE!" Chivalry awaits for Caras's arrival. "I hope your telling the truth when you say that you can see what I see, because what I'm going to see is your death by my blade!"

I WILL SLICE YOU IN HALF AND WE'LL THEN SEE WHO IS THE FOOLISH ONE HERE!" Chivalry awaits for Caras's arrival. "I hope your telling the truth when you say that you can see what I see, because what I'm going to see is your death by my blade!"

"you have no idea what you are getting into. It shall be me and you, one will walk away free while the other may not walk away at all". With that said Caras put on his new armour and sword and teleported to where Chivalry was. "So then let's see if that sword is all powerful. I fight in the ancient way, if you do not use magic, I shall not use magic. Just swords. Let's honored combat begin." He unsheathed his sword and prepared himself for the fight ahead of him.

Tempest sighed as he watched Chivalry leave. He honestly didn't care, though. The cyan pegesus then shrugged.

 

Dark laughed slightly and smiled. "You and Tempest are so similar, even if Tempest and Celestia weren't exactly on the best of terms." She said.

Sole landed silently a few feet away from the combatants "alright, I won't interfere... as long as chivalry isn't in danger of being killed." He said to himself, as he watched them getting prepared for what promised to be a good battle.

 

((Just a heads up, sole will interfere if either one tries to kill the other. He hates murder.))

Chivalry drew his blade using his magic. "There has to be one exception, I have no experience using a sword with my own two hooves, so I have to wield it using my magic if that's alright with you." Chivalry started at Caras with anger as he awaited for an answer.

Chivalry drew his blade using his magic. "There has to be one exception, I have no experience using a sword with my own two hooves, so I have to wield it using my magic if that's alright with you." Chivalry started at Caras with anger as he awaited for an answer.

"the use of levetation magic is permited in the ancient ways, so you may use levetation but no more, if you do, well it shall be your death. My honored blood be spilled here today." Caras was standing at attention with his sword at the ready, waiting for Chivalry to make a move.

"Alright then Caras, Prepare to meet your doom. I am Chivalry Knight, I fight for those who cannot fight for themselves! With this blade, I will destroy the very essence of your soul leave your body to rot." Chivalry gets into his battle stance "Now then, shall we begin?" Chivalry smirked at Caras after saying this.

"We shall." Caras ran at Chivalry at high speed, which turned into a slide, passing under Chivlary and doing a small slice on his front leg. Standing up behind Chivalry, Caras got back into defencive position, "How's that for a start. You should have worn some armour my friend"

"Urk! Grr, I don't need armor to defeat you!" Chivalry quickly turned around despite having his front leg damaged. Chivalry jumped away from Caras but not before slicing threw a tree causing it to fall in Caras's general direction. Chivalry was then ready to attack if Caras dodged the falling tree.

"Alright then, How about this!?" Chivalry started to run around and randomly cut down alot of trees that aimed for Caras. Then Chivalry stopped in a safe spot and started to levitate large rocks, he then threw them at Caras. While doing this he darted his sword towards Caras and started slashing with precision strikes.

Then Chivalry stopped in a safe spot and started to levitate large rocks, he then threw them at Caras. While doing this he darted his sword towards Caras and started slashing with precision strikes.

"You used magic on an item that was not your sword, that is against the rules. I can let it slide this once." Caras raised his sword and it burst into flames, reducing the trees to ash, and disintergarting the rocks. "I never said anything about the swords powers being restricted." Caras then lanched several fast heavy attacks with his sword as it was still on fire.

"I see, I wouldn't have "Cheated" if I knew that levitating magic couldn't be used on other object except for my bla-" Chivalry's speaking was cut off by Caras's attacks. Chivalry dodged and parry'd most of the slashes but some of them connected. The slices both hurt and burned Chivalry. Fortunately it wasn't anything too severe, however Chivalry knew he had to finish this fast. He jumped back and stood there for a second. He had to somehow activate the swords magic, but how? Chivalry didn't have time to think he needed to do something right now. "Maybe if I just focus my energy into the blade!"

"Time to end this, and you." Caras charged his swords energy and unleashed it in a blast that knocked Chivalry to the ground. Caras stood over Chivalry with his sword in the possition to stab. "You fought valiently my friend, shame you lack the skill and information on how to use that blade, goodbye." Caras raised his sword and was about to stab Chivalry in the heart.

Chivalry bucked Caras off of him and parry'd the swords attack with the Ancient Blade. However he was not fast enough to make the attack fully miss, Chivalry was scraped on the chest by Caras's blade. "Heh, that was a close one." Chivalry quickly got up and walked back a few steps. "Iv'e been observing your battle style Caras. How you move, how you attack, and most importantly, How you use your blades power." The Ancient Blade started to glow with a purple and a golden yellow aura. "Now thanks to you, I can properly fight you." Chivalry charged the swords energy. "Celestia and Luna are on my side, I will defeat you, FOR CELESTIA!" Chivalry jumped up high and  landed on a tree branch, he jumped up the trees until he was higher than the forest itself. He then used the swords power and sliced towards Caras, Suddenly waves of light come crashing down onto the forest.

Caras stood there and took the full force of the attack, it caused reletively very minor damage thanks to his powerful armour. "Is that all you have, now whitness the true power of my blade." Caras used the swords power to surround Chivalry in a ball of fire, he started to put more power into the flames makeing them hotter as a result. For one final attack he shot fire from hit sword which hit Chivalry, severly wounding him and causing huge burns on his coat. "You have no power over me Chivalry, you are weak and have no way of usinf that sword to its full potential, because you are not Powerful. Only a few ponies could whield that sword, and they are on my side or dead. I hope you have someone to help you because if I leave you here you will die anyway, but just to make sure." He then plunged his sword into Chivalry, "the blood loss shall take care of you. I hope you told someone where you where going, because if you did not, it will be your death." Caras walked away from Chivalry and vanished into the forest.

 

((Sorry if I cut this short, I am very busy today and I had to finish this so I don't keep everyone waiting on me all day))

Chivalry laid there, in the middle of the forest. He was in alot of pain, his navy blue coat was charred from the blast and he was quickly losing alot of blood. "D-damn it Caras, y-you know for a fact that I didn't tell anyone I was out here..." Chivalry started to breath heavily. 'So this is it, am I really going to die?' Chivalry's vision was getting blurry. 'I am going to die, I'm going to die a failure, and a fool.' "Damn you Caras, you cold hearted ba- *Cough Cough*" Chivalry was interrupted by coughing up blood. 'Yup, so this is what it feels like to die. At least soon I'll be with my family...' Chivalry started to slowly close his eyes, but then quickly opened them again. 'wait, I can't die yet, what about Minath? She'll be in danger, Caras will kill her. I can't let that happen!' Chivalry attempted to get up despite all of his injuries, he used his sword to help him up. However he only made it a few feet before dropping to the ground again. 'Damn it, if I wasn't so foolish to tell everyone to not follow me... what was I thinking?'

Stardust had left after Caras, she watched as Chivalry and Caras fought. It was nice to see the stallion that she had fought earlier be defeat by her ally.  She watched as Caras walked into the forest, a smile crept onto her lips, maybe she could have the last laugh with him before he died.

Stardust flew down, landing not far from the pony and walked to wards him. Her smile was something scary.

Chivalry heard someone walking towards him. "I-is someone there? Please I need he-" Chivalry saw that it was none other than Stardust who had appeared. "Grr, I don't suppose your here to help, are you Stardust?" Chivalry looked at her with angered eyes, but was quickly replace by a face of pain.

Stardust walked closer to the stallion on the ground and bent her head towards his ear.

"I'm going to enjoy as the life leaves your body. As the pain becomes too much and as the blood slowly leaves you. I am going to enjoy this little show."

"Geeze your creepy, are you insane or something?" Chivalry gave Stardust a smart-ass remark. He coughed a little more blood and continued. "Heh, I tell you, none of the ponies iv'e met so far are as crazy as you, you know? What caused you to be this way, I mean, I'm dying right? so what does it matter if you tell me?" Chivalry looked at Stardust as if he were expecting an answer.

Stardust Chuckled, the stallion wanted something and she was going to grant his last request. It would give her something to do while she waited for him to die. So she said her speech in a whisper.

" What caused my insanity? My travel was the main cause, every jump through time I could feel the madness seeping in with its ever so lovely music. But I guess the universe had to make a choice for balance of the powers. You regular ponies and your Princesses, you had all the good power, too much of it. There was only so much power that was devoted to the darkness, to the evil and corruption in some. I was a broken filly, a broken mare and the universe decided that I was to lead the dark. My insanity was something that was given to me, through my hardships I was lost to the sound of music. I like the death of ponies and seeing things fall, so Dear chivalry Knight. If you were to ever see the full extent of my madness, you would have to look into creation itself to see what is inside my head."

 

Stardust let out another chuckle, her smile grew even wider, she was having fun talking to the stallion in his last breaths.

Chivalry was running out of time. "I see, and what of your family? Your mother and father, I'm sure they missed you while you jumped through the streams of time?" Chivalry couldn't help but to think about his own parents. "Or are you one of those kind of ponies who would rather take out the beating heart of anybody she saw?"
