Minath looked at the sword.

 

"Huh, I guess it doesn't." Minath said, then conjured one up with her magic. Being an alicorn of battle, she knew her way around any weapon and could manipulate them and their properties.

 

"Does this fit your needs?" Minath asked, her slate and gold aura fading from the sword.

"W-wow, it's perfect. Heh, once again Minath you have helped my in my need." Chivalry turns attention into Minath's eyes "Eh, thank you again... you know? For, well everything. " Chivalry straps the sword tightly on his back using his magic and gives Minath a hug.

Minath hugged Chivalry back.

 

"It's no problem. I know you need it more than I do, and who am I to deny something that is rightfully yours? After all, it did come from Killik. I have a sword that Celestia and Luna had forged specifically for me, I received it when i started my duties as a guard, I grows as I grow. I've enchanted it with my own weapons skills, also."

Tempest trotted through the forest and sighed. His aura had long since went back into his body, and he was now heading back to Canterlot. "I have to train harder." He thought. "I can't let Caras go unchecked." The cyan pegesus soon entered Canterlot and entered the palace. He could sense Minath, Chivalry, and Luna through his aura sight. "At least they didn't come here." He thought.

Chivalry felt happy, he hadn't felt this happy since he could remember. He stopped hugging Minath, however his face was still a little blushed. He had finally got what he longed for. However he was a little confused when she said that it was from Killik. But he didn't want to question her about it. What did it matter where it came from anyway, as long as he has it now. "You know, this sword might be strong enough to crack even that time controlling pony's shield spell. Anyway, we should head back now ya? they probably noticed that your missing already and are looking for you haha." Chivalry smiled as he started to walk to the exit door of the room.

Minath shrugged.

 

"I guess you're right. It just feels, weird being this powerful. I've always specialized in combat magic, and now I have enough power to literally move the sun. And leading a country is making my stomach flip. I'm the captain of the Guard, and now the leader of the country. And everypony's counting on me." She said, then followed Chivalry out of the hidden armory, nodding at the Guards as she passed them.

Chivalry spoke as he was walking out with Minath "Ah, don't worry to much Minath. I mean, Celestia wouldn't have chosen you if she didn't think you were ready, you know? And sure, everypony is counting on you, but your not alone on this. You've got us by your side, and we'll try our best to help the best we can. And I promise, I won't let anything happen to you, alright?" Chivalry looked at Minath and winked.

Tempest noticed Chicalry and Minath. The cyan pegesus then shrugged and decided to talk to the two. "So, what have you been up to, while I was... away?" He asked. The cyan pegesus's aura had long since receded into his body, and he was now in control of his actions.

 

"Why do you even fight with them, and not with Caras? You'll just end up hurting everypony you care about in some way." A voice in Tempest's head asked.

 

Tempest was surprised by the voice's sudden appearance, but he didn't show it. "Who are you?" He thought. The cyan pegesus assumed that it was most likely his aura.

 

The voice laughed. "I am you, and you are me. I am the source of all of your strength, Tempest Sol, and with that, I bid you adieu."

Chivalry noticed Tempest and turned his attention to him. Tempest had asked them what they have been up to. However Chivalry was completely oblivious when Tempest stated that he was "away". "Oh hey there, we haven't been up to much really. Minath was just showing me around the castle is all." It looked as if thought Chivalry didn't want to tell anypony else about the Ancient Blade, at least not yet. "And uh, away? what do you mean, did you go somewhere?"

Tempest glanced at Chivalry. "I sensed Caras's aura near Canterlot, so I decided to investigate. It ended up in me getting captured and taken somewhere I would assume would in the everfree forest. After that, my aura took control and I found myself in Canterlot when it was done." He said. The cyan pegesus then shrugged.

"Oh, I see. WAIT A MINUTE, ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT CARAS WAS HERE?!?!" Chivalry's face became serious. "Do you know where he went? Any of his plans? He must of said something while you were there." Chivalry quickly moved closer to Tempest. "What about that time controlling pony. Do you know any more information about her, like spells, abilities, a name, anything?"

Tempest sighed. "I don't know where he went. As for the time pony, her name was Stardust, or something like that." He said. The cyan pegesus then shrugged. He honestly wasn't hiding anything from Chivalry. "I don't exactly have the best memory when my aura is in control."

Crimson noticed was walking by as he noticed chivilry looking very serious as he leaned in on tempest to speak, sounding very desperate, crimson raised an eyebrow "I wonder what's gotten into him..." crimson quickly walked over to them and tapped chivilry on the shoulder, "what's going on here" asked crimson seriously.

Chivalry turned his attention to Crimson. "Apparently Tempest here was captured by Caras and the time controlling pony who I just learned is named Stardust. However, that's all we really know, I guess Caras and Stardust got away. As of now There whereabouts are unknown..."

Caras could feel the power, simply exploding from the sword. He saw this as an oppertunity to mess with the ponies head, who he discovered was Chivalry knight. 'This is going to be fun'. Caras thought to himself, before using a clock spell to hide his magic from detection and then cast a long range telepathy spell, which was directed at Chivalry. "You know not were I am, but I know all to well where you are. The sword you think will save you, but all it is doing is betraying you. For as long as you hold the sword, I can find you anywhere at any time, your salvation is also your destuction. I am watching, you will never be free." Caras laughed as he broke the Telepathy spell. "Stardust, I think I have found a way to track the ponies, at any time, the possibilities we could do to take advantage of this situation are endless, but I think it is time to lure them into the trap I have set for them. This is going to be so funny, and we will be one step closer to killing Minath, Luna and Cadance."

Tempest sighed as he looked out a window. He had separated himself from the group, and was thinking about what he had been told earlier. "I wouldn't harm my friends, would I?" He thought. The cyan pegesus then yelled in frustration, before punching the wall. "I had better see what the others are up to." Tempest then trotted through the halls of the palace, making his way back to the throne room.

Minath watched the interactions between the other ponies, trying to get a better grasp on their personalities, strengths, and how they interacted with each other.

 

Tempest's aura seems kinda.... unstable. I better keep an eye on that.

 

Chivalry lied about the sword? Interesting....

 

Crimson seems to be left out of the metaphorical loop. I wonder how that will play.

((I'm back! Sorry for disappearing guys, I've been a bit busy.))

 

Sole walked out of a large cave that he had been in for a while. This cave served as a good place to heal, as well as to train. "Heh... finally healed. And I've even gotten stronger, that training really did the trick!" He said to himself happily, as he flew to canterlot.

When Tempest entered the throne room, he noticed Minath and shrugged. He had decided to at least give her a chance, even if she did have Celestia's aura mixed in with her own. He then trotted out onto a balcony and looked into the distance.

 

Dark glanced at Minath and smiled. "So, when did you and Celestia meet?" She asked.

Out of nowhere Chivalry yelled out to nopony in particular. "FOOL! Your such a fool Caras!" Chivalry turned his attention to Minath. "Minath, Caras has just telepathically contacted me. He so foolishly stated that he can track the sword, probably because of its strong magical properties. Do you have anything to mask its-... wait a minute, this is perfect. With this Caras will be able to tell where we are, or maybe... Hmm." Chivalry looks down then looks back up. "Minath... I must take my leave."

Minath turned to Dark, a smile of nostalgia on her face.

 

"I was just a filly, after I ran away from an orphanage in Manehatten. I just wanted to see Canterlot. I flew for three days, and on the last night of flying I stared from the mountaintop onto the city, and noticed how beautiful it was. The next morning I snuck into the palace. It wasn't all that difficult, after all, the guard's positions were easy to maneuver around. I crawled onto a linen cart that was to be delivered into Celestia's room. I got lucky and the guards didn't check that cart. I hid in Celestia's closet, and because she sometimes ate in her room, I got food too. After about a week I had regained enough strength that she could sense my magical aura, and that's when I first saw her. She had a look of kindness, almost motherly smile on her face I told her everything. We sat in that huge closet for hours, just me telling her everything that had happened to me. She even shed a tear or two. She invited me to stay at the castle and help the guard when I was old enough, and I was so surprised. Me? An orphan from Manehatten? So constantly bullied it left scars? And Celestia was offering me something beyond my wildest dreams. I accepted. Sneaking into the castle had gotten me my cutie mark, and in a few years, a job as a guard. I've been climbing up the ranks until about two years ago when I became captain. She always was so proud of me, that motherly smile that said everything."

Minath was surprised at Chivalry's outburst.

 

"Oh, uh, sure. You may take your leave."

Dark was slightly surprised by this, and smiled. "So, I'm assuming that you must've worked with Tempest before all of this happened?" She asked. "He never really mentioned you, but he does work as in Luna's guard." The black dragon then shrugged.

 

Tempest overheard Minath's story and sighed. "Celestia, you made the right choice as a new ruler." He thought.

Minath shrugged.

 

"I might've once or twice. I normally work with the sun guard, and I love training the newcomers. They see my size and the way I carry myself and take me for a pushover. But eventually I earn their respect. I won't go around demanding respect I haven't earned," Minath said with a smile.

DH sat in the circle she had drawn earlier in the blood of a pony from a nearby town. Taken unwillingly, of course. She was talking with Kokabiel.

 

"Are you sure Caras has returned? He was not been seen during your lifetime. Are you sure it's him?"

 

"Yes, m'lady. There a whispers of his return spread throughout the darkling realm."

 

"Very well. I shall be expect him soon, I assume. Kokabiel, you are dismissed for the time being."

 

Come to me, Caras. I await you. Let's hope you come with good manners. Don't want Guayota to rip you to shreds.

With this, there is no way I can lose.' Chivalry thought as he ran to the Everfree forest. 'I promise I'll protect you Minath, even at the cost of my own life, I will bring down Caras once and for all.'

as sole was arriving in canterlot, he saw chivalry leaving with something on his back. Now Curious, he decided to follow him stealthily. *with my body all healed, and my training complete, I can finally kick that murduring jerks ass.* he thought to himself as he followed quietly.
