I have just proofread the scene, but I will add some alternative options at the bottom when I give it to you and you can decide what you want to do.  I know a fic that had a clop scene as "Chapter 7.5" and readers could choose to read it.  It didn't advance the plot or characters, and the next chapter picked up where "Chapter 7" left off.  So it worked if you read the optional scene or not. 

 

Yours only works if you read the scene, because without it, it doesn't make sense.  I still need to check out the other scene.
