And their description of the game was awful. They only talked about how the dungeons were similarly layed out to old-school Zelda. Not mentioning or showing even once the game's random level generation, over 400 items, unique combos, or large amounts of enemies and bosses.

 

 They failed spectacularly.

I'm sure every game with a sword and dungeons is a similar concept to Zelda.

It's too bad they overlooked everything else.

There was no sword. Isaac fights monster's with his tears.

 

 But they are correct that the dungeon layout takes inspiration from old-school Zelda. I have no problem with that. I'm just annoyed they didn't mention any of the things that make the game unique, or make it stand-out. Isaac fans know these things, but newcomers learning about it from the video wouldn't.

It is a unique game. It does a ton of really cool stuff and I've never seen any other game quite like it that wasn't a cheap imitation that tries too hard to be the same.

 

 And I'm convinced IGN has no idea what they're doing.
