Because there was a point when I was learning a lot about the bible, and there were a lot of sad truths that made me worry a lot. Eventually my grandma had a chat with me and tried to convince me that the other church had "brainwashed" me to believe other things, even though everything they said I believed was correct... But I didn't want to believe some f those things, so I've been trying to reason for weeks up to now as to what the bible means.. Or what I want it to mean.. And there's a passage that says to be wary of false doctrines, or doctrines people will modify so that they satisfy "what their ears itch to hear".

I remember back in the day when our Catholic Church is being against the passing of the population control law here.

 

They say stuff like it's against the Genesis, and also the right to live of a human. They even said that according to their 'experts', using contraceptive are 'cancerous'.

 

They even threatened to impeach our president for human rights violation and the senseless 'offending religious feels' if they pass the law...

 

Fortunately, it did not happen, and the law was passed. How could they threaten such a thing? I mean they DON'T have the right to even meddle into politics and all that stuff.
