It's just that it wasn't telling me stuff like this before. I'll run the scan for now. I'll log out and turn my computer off for a bit then come back.

I've been using Avast and Malwarebytes for a long time. They've both been working wonderfully. I'm doing a scan right now and my computer isn't experiencing any problems. I'll just let the scans run and wait it out a bit to see if anything changes.

I've found that Microsoft Security Essentials (or the included Windows Defender in Windows 8) work just fine for preventing infections when combined with sensible internet habits, and they have less overhead than any other program I've used. Give it a shot if you haven't before.

What I've been using has been working fine. And my internet habits are pretty good overall as I tend to stick to a small group of websites. I'll keep that in mind if it does turn out there's some problem that I can't fix though. Thanks for the advice.
