Well that would benefit you if you have Windows smartphones and tablets.  I have a Windows 8 smartphone and a Windows 7 PC, and I have no problems between syncing data.  Though I am excited for Windows 10, since it combines 7 and 8.

I'm just used to mac myself, that and it's my parents' choice, and I wasn't about to buy my own computer anytime soon!

I dislike it mostly because it remains foreign to me, although I've used macs a few times I still can't seem to master it. Usually I pick up on things like that fairly quickly, but not macs. I feel like I'm becoming like one of those old folks that dislike any form of new technology since I dislike iPads, tablets, and that sort of stuff. Mainly because I simply struggle to use them. I'm fine with android phones though, my phone was a Samsung Galaxy 3 before it broke. My Dad likes the Mac line, so he's got a iPhone, iPad, Mac laptop. To my disappointment.

Macs have a pretty bad price-performance ratio. I could probably build some gaming PC for probably the same price as a Mac and outperform it by 20% or probably even more than that...

 

I know it's Apples to Microsoft there (pun intended ), since Macs have slightly different architecture from regular PCs IIRC, but still they're very much overpriced compared to PCs, especially if you build your own one...

 

I pretty much trust Google because life...

I don't really care much for Mac vs PC.

It's either you buy one or the other really. I don't know why people get so defensive about it!

I believe you can adjust the settings for it.

The first time I used one I couldn't work out how to eject a USB, turns out you have to drag it over the recycling bin!

But I just don't like the one-button mouse and the GUI, I just cant' get the hang of it and I always want my windows back.

The computer I have has a trackpad, and sometimes when I go to do the same on a non-mac computer, I end up highlighting a whole lot of things and renaming every document "r" and copying them multiple times which is really annoying.   

I have no idea what went wrong but it did.
