BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189370 Hello Raritas! Because school is awful and a lot of people need to rant about it. Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

School... :okiedokielokie: I guess it's because it's not long after the start of the school year, and everyone's hating it already Edited October 15, 2014 by Raritas "Sometimes I wish I could imagine myself 10 years from now, out of college, living life without boundaries. BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189372 How do people even manage to keep going? I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did. Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189373 *Clears throat* The American government forces you to until the age of 18. "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."
BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189374 No, it doesn't. You can drop out before 18, but you need parent's permission. Which most people probably won't get. I'm just wondering how they manage to go and not break down. Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?
Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189375 Because everyone is different. Not everyone had the same experience in school. "I'd rather trust and regret, than doubt and regret."
BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189376 I understand that. I'm just frustrated. It's making me think of my experiences and everyone around me just all "It's not that bad! Just deal with it! You're just lazy!" they say. Now I'm getting angry and I don't want to be. Raritas 6,820 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189'377 Here in England, you have to now be in some form of education until you are 18, be it college, Uni, apprenticeships or Sixth Form. I was staying on for sixth form anyway, so it doesn't bother me. I hate it, but I guess I manage. Don't know if you have Sixth Form in America. Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189379 That's not what I'm saying at all. Believe me, I hated middle and high school like no tomorrow, because of how much I was bullied and tormented. BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189380 Not saying you were Smash. Just getting reminded of that. I hated it because of pretty much everything. Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189382 Same here, man. I got so irritated by it, I spent a lot of time in the principal's office because of how many times I got into fights standing up for myself. A Black Circle 1,586 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189383 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. Biscuit. BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189384 School didn't really help me learn all that much either. The classes and teachers were always either too easy/too frustrating/too boring, or some weird mixture of all 3. Edited October 15, 2014 by BasementNopony Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189385 Here's my thing: in order for me to learn, I need to be challenged. Raritas 6,820 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189'387 Feel for you two... School is tough. Don't know how British schools differ to US ones. But alas, bullying is the same no matter where you go. Edited October 15, 2014 by Raritas "Sometimes I wish I could imagine myself 10 years from now, out of college, living life without boundaries. Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189388 I will openly admit I was not the person you wanted to pick on in school. A Black Circle 1,586 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189,389 I never really got it. BastementSparkle 20,334 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 189390 I barely ever fought back against bullies. Overdrive 5,366 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189392 My thing: I don't have anger issues, I have people problems. When I was in high school, the principals and I were tight. I'd been going to school with one's son since pre-school, and the other, oddly used to date my mother years ago. Raritas 6,820 October 15, 2014 Share October 15, 2014 (edited) 189'393 Night Filly! When ever I got crap, I just laughed it off. Difficult, but you can't keep believing what they say.
