It's not even funny, guys. I know it. I know what it's like to have issues and be used as a laughingstock. It's a shame some of you find this amusing. It's very serious and very depressing.

 

My best advice is to try to keep the issues away from this thread as much as possible. I know you're apprehensive about the Life Advice section, but I'd try it just to be sure. There's also PMs, you'll get the individual attention and focus on the problem specifically. We want to help, but we want to be sure you'll cooperate.

I don't really find it amusing, I found my comment amusing, but that's pretty much completely unrelated to anything else.

 

 I'm not taking part in this. I have no advice to give and I think anything I say would just make it worse. I'll keep silent unless I really think someone needs my support or I can give actual advice.

These things take time. You have to be patient. Waiting sometimes makes you feel like a caged lion. When you're stuck in the cycle, it feels as if you're missing out on a lot. But it feels much better when the waiting pays off in making the right decision that puts your life on the right track for the long term.

Well, all I can say is that's amazing! Your life is almost the exact opposite of mine right now.

 

I don't want to be the cliche guy who says "you'll get yours someday". No one can make any guarantees. It's just that it's best to enjoy the life and friends that you have and not waste time and energy worrying about getting your special somepony right away and right now. In fact, not having one now might help you in forming your opinions and experiences so that someday you'll be able to make the right choice. It's better to be safe now than sorry later.
