Sort of. I could understand it, but I am pretty abysmal when I try to speak it... :derp:

 

It does have some pretty tricky pronunciation (and even something where a word may have two different meanings depending on pronunciation) and sentence structures so to speak... :maud:

Everyone speaks English here actually; It's one of the official languages of the country after all...

 

But I always try to speak (abysmal) Filipino when talking to other people outside of my family and friends because I feel too embarrassed when I speak English... :o
