If you can't see where this is going at this point, then I dunno what to think:

Chapter 3

The figure in question turned out to be a beautiful, snow white mare, with a jet black mane and tail, bright blue eyes, and earrings adorning her soft ears. She looked as if she had been left where she was for most of the day.

“Hello,” Overdrive softly murmured, “Miss, why are you out here? It’s frigid cold outside. Please, come inside.” The mare obliged, nodding her head, and followed Overdrive into his home.

“Please, have a seat,” Overdrive said as he gestured towards the couch. She silently trotted over, and Overdrive fetched a blanket for his house guest. “Can I get you some tea, or hot cocoa?”

She quietly responded, “Hot cocoa would be nice, if you would please.” Overdrive nodded, then trotted over into the kitchen, and whipped up a cup of hot cocoa for the mare. He soon returned, handing her the hot cocoa, then sat down in a chair.

“If I may ask, what is your name? I’m Overdrive, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She sat there silently, sipping her cocoa. “Please, don’t be shy. I won’t hurt you, I want to help you. Can you tell me your name?”

She stirred, putting her cup down on the table. “I’m… I’m… I’m Wolf Tracks. You said your name was Overdrive, right?” Her voice sounded angelic and pure, but it was obvious through it came pain and suffering. Overdrive hated hearing the pain, and knew he had to do something more about it.

“Out of curiosity, why were you out in the snow,” Overdrive asked. “You could have just knocked on the door, and I would have more than obliged to let you in.”

She stirred again, this time picking up her hot cocoa. “It’s a long story. Let’s just say that… someone stabbed me in the back, and I had nowhere to go, so I just collapsed outside. I’d rather not talk about it anymore.”

Overdrive understood this, nodded, then trotted upstairs to fix his bed as Wolfy remained downstairs, sipping her cocoa, warming up, and thinking of what had transpired in her life the past few days. She shuttered, for even the thought scared and upset her. She knew she never wanted to experience what happened again, for as long as she lived.

Overdrive soon came back downstairs, and spoke. “You can sleep in my bed this evening, Miss Tracks. It’s fine, honestly. I can sleep here on the couch.”

She looked at him, her eyes sparkling, almost like puppy eyes. “Really, you mean it?” She was in disbelief. Wolfy had never seen this level of compassion from a stallion before. “I... I don’t know what to say. Thank you,” she exclaimed, jumping up from the couch, and hugged Overdrive as if she had never hugged another pony before.

He smiled. “You are very welcome. Go on, get some rest. You’ve had a rough day. The sooner you end this day, the sooner you can start your brighter, new day tomorrow, OK?”

She replied, “You’re right. I’ll be heading to bed soon. By the way, call me Wolfy, OK? Goodnight, and thank you again.”

Overdrive smiled. “Sweet dreams. I’ll see you in the morning.” With that, she made her way upstairs, climbed into the plush bed, and drifted off asleep. Meanwhile, Overdrive sat downstairs, thinking about what could have possibly caused such a nice, innocent mare to be lying out in the cold all day, as Wolfy had been.

Sparky came and climbed up on the couch with Overdrive. “I just don’t get it boy,” Overdrive remarked, “Why would she be out in the cold like that? It just doesn’t make sense.” With that, Overdrive got himself comfortable, laid down on the couch, and drifted off to sleep, deep in thought.

No, I didn't ask, but she hasn't seen it yet, so I can change it if I need to. She hasn't minded any of the art I've done (If anything, she's loved it), so I don't think she'd have an issue with it.

Love for mankind;
Look around it's getting very hard to find.
Not every open wound is simply healed by time,
But revenge is always sweet,
And chaos is the prize.~

Feel it everywhere and you see it growing,
Enemies arise and the hate is flowing,
Shattering the moon and bloodying the sky.
