Sometimes I wonder how uncommon it is to watch the show in order.

For me to create a list of my top ten, I'd probably have to go back and rewatch a lot of the episodes because there are a number of them I haven't seen in a long time. A lot of my favorites were from Season 1 when mental breakdowns were regular. Party of One, Suited for Success, Best Night Ever, Applebuck Season, Swarm of the Century, Sonic Rainboom, Lesson Zero (okay that was Season 2)....what really got me into this show to begin with was just to see ponies lose their marbles. And it still happened even in Season 4 that ponies were losing their minds. It's why I loved Castle Mane-ia so much. 

 

But yeah I really don't have it in me to sit down and watch all the episodes (or even skim through them) and pick out which ones are my favorites

 

There aren't quite as many mental breakdowns as before. But that's just because Lauren Faust is a genius when it comes to those situations. Just look at Foster's Home. That show revolved around Bloo driving Frankie totally nucking futs. And that's why I loved it. It was total chaos!

 

And when I started out, we were done with Season 2 so I watched all the episodes in order and checked them off a checklist
