277262 yah i mean signatures i know i need thenm to bring their own images since im not able to draw on my computer i would be slow to produce any thing and im not that good and just about every body better then me but do you think i should still go for it?

If you feel you can dedicate enough time to it sure you can always post a warning or message stating your new and looking for people willing to help you practice. Don't worry about people being better than you really that is not relevant if anything take notes or tips on how they lay out their sigs and what works well with what (colors, positioning and placement of objects) focus on what you can do and always look for stuff to improve and don't be afraid to try new things/techniques.

 

Don't get down on yourself if what appears on the comp is not what you had it looking like in your mind it takes practice and time, heck my first vector was pretty bad to what I can do now I just looked for things to improve and try next time.

 

In summary yeah a shop is a neat thing to try, asking for a ref is a good idea if not have them describe what they want and draw it to the best of what was describe then go back and forth with the person seeing what they would like changed or tweaked. You can also state your only accepting a few requests due to how needing a bit more time to complete each sig.

 

I never opened a shop more so because I only have 5-6 hours a day due to work to draw so I didn't think I could put forth enough time to fulfill 3,4,5 or more requests in an adequate time.

 

That being said are there any specific things your worried about?

Hmm I don't draw from scratch either I use a program to edit photos together for example my sig I used a couple different Rarity pics and background pics.

 

Now that you mention it I could use a Sunset Shimmer sig I got a Sunset plush coming next week and would love a sig to celebrate her arrival.
