Well, a topic was recently created to discuss improving site moderating, moderation being more transparent, etc. I don't know if you've heard of it:

Keep in mind, though, it's purpose is mainly constructive criticism, it seems, not solely rage filled vents; not to say that past moderation mistakes are taboo to discuss.
