I want GTA 5 on PC so much... Although the 65 gb download is a problem... and the system specs...... Minor issues  :maud:

When I got The Sims 3 back in 2009-ish, I downloaded the 5 gb game on 120 kilobyte per second connection lol took me 3 days of constant downloading.

GTA5 is nice :D
I have 50Mbit/s internet and it took me a day to download it xD

 

and with some tweaking I'm sure you can run it at a playable framerate too

Intel i3 processor (not sure which version)

8gb Ram

 

It'll probably run on like minimum graphics, anything more and I think I'll make it cry. The 65 gb size is an issue cause I've almost run out of space on my hard drive :P

 

Lool 120 kb? That must have been painful. My download speed is like 2mb/s on Steam, so I guess it wouldn't be that bad.

You can run that game alright. I was playing at medium settings with an FX 6300 and Radeon 7770. It actually has very conservative requirements.

 

The download time would be an issue. I'm on 16 mbit/s and it took me 8 hours. I just let it download one night when I was asleep.

I think my problem was my drivers lol I might put that 7770 back in there and let you know what my results are with that though my CPU will probably make it run better than yours, Raritas.

 

I just spent a crap ton of money on my rig without updating my drivers like a total noob :lol:

 

I will say that 4 gb frame buffer is nice to have around though.

 

I would love to have the internet speeds at home that we have at the office

Hey Daring! Thanks guys, I hope so. I mean, I don't care about stellar graphics, as long as I reach 40 odd fps or higher I'll be happy. Tbh I really need to upgrade soon, which will be daunting seeing as I've never done that before. My GPU really seems to really struggle at times, which is a pain.

 

Updating my drivers? I haven't actually thought of that  :blink: Yeah, I'm such a noob when it comes to this stuff  :lol: Don't think I've touched anything like that in the year and a half I've had this machine.
