I don't normally come here when I'm not feeling right but I just tire of being me. I get the feeling that nobody in my family cares about how I feel about things. They have their own agendas for me and if I have reservations about something, those reservations don't fucking matter because I'm either being irrational or I'm resisting change.

My hand is essentially being forced. My folks want me to get a car. But they want me in something barely driven. I don't want the other half of my income that doesn't go to rent going to a car payment. And because a car is a huge financial burden, I'm the one being irate for not jumping all over it.

they can't actually force you to spend your hard earned cahs on something you don't want now can they?

And sometimes I just want to tell them "I'm sorry that all I want to do is disappoint you"

Really sorry to hear this, Woona :/ Seems really unfair to force you to spend your own cash on something you don't feel you want. Why do they seem so adamant to make you buy a car? A new car at that?

They actually can because the car I drive now is their car. They got it for me when I was 17. But it costs them next to nothing to keep it insured. And I know it's immature of me to want them to keep it insured, but I've got no problems with insuring it myself.

But do I get a say in what I get to drive next? Sorta but not really. I can say I like or dislike something, but if I get something that's more than a few years old or has a couple minor problems, I'm not getting a good deal. All I'm trying to do is keep from getting a second job because I got too much car for what I make.

Because a new one will have a warranty and I won't have to worry about it and all that.

I finally did get them on the used boat but now if it's got more than 80k miles on it, it's way too old.

I don't need something new and fancy. I need something that turns on and moves. That's it.

you could look into something by VAG. (volkswagen, audi, skoda, seat)

these are usually not too expensive and (depending on what you get, don't get anything VR6!) should last you a long while!

also, parts are cheap!

I'm probably gonna apply for part time work at Walmart to help out.

I like Hondas so that's probably what I'll end up getting. So maybe I can get a weekend job to help out. The sucky part will be a 56-hour workweek.
