I mean, sure I also used pcs at that time, but I didn't own one...

my familiy had 1 PC for everyone until I was 8 or so...

that's when I got my first one (desktop)

Today I own my fourth PC, and I never owned a laptop :P

 

History of PC's in household:

 

 

(I was born in December 2001.)

 

E-machines <insert model> 2002 - 2010

Acer Aspire 5715Z 2007 - 2014

Death of E-machines. (2010)

E-machines 2.0 <insert model> 2010 - 2015

Death of Aspire. (2014)

E-machines 2.0 sent into attic. (2015)

My first PC was a bought one I remember that, but after that one's PSU died, and I replaced it and it died again (happend 3 times in total) AND one of the catalysts on the graphics card exploded... well, all my other PCs after that were self-built...

I can't remember more... I know my last 2 CPUs and GPUs and all my current specs, but that's all

yeah, one of those silver cylinders (catalysts) on the graphics card burst open (exploded)

that was damn load and scary ._.

after that my pc crashed after pretty often, especially when playing (there's acid in those things (afaik), that was now all over the mainboard...) so I bought a new PC :P

please don't ask me if those things are really called catalysts or if the really have acid in them, it's what I've been told... pretty sure Filleh will answer to this post and tell me if any of that is true... filleh seems to knoe everything about tech

edit: ok filleh, I probably used the wrong word... it's probably capacitor, Nectar told me ^^

1. Have to translate from german to english

2. was SOOO long ago, I don't remember, I guess I switched the terms, they are pretty similar and I have the worst memory a human being can have xD (no srsly, it took me 2 years to learn the names of my class mates...)
