  1. 1. What should happen after 1 million is reached?

    • Start over at 1
      30
    • Keep counting to infinity (count to the next million(s))
      106
    • Count back down to 1 (then back up)
      52

I wish I shared that mentality, but for animation instead of coding :P

Well, guess now's a better time than ever to start something.

logical OR, how does it work...

so I ask if X == -1

I also ask if X == NULL (nothing)

then I say if it is -1 OR NULL, do X else do Y

if(x==-1 || x==NULL){
   /*DO X*/
}else{
   /*DO Y*/
}

this results in following truth table:

-1 | NULL  | -1 OR NULL

1  |     1     |  true (do X)   <- this will never happen, as the variable cannot be 2 states at once

1  |     0     |  true (do X)   <- will occur at times

0  |     1     |  true (do X)   <- should not occur, but can

0  |     0     |  false (do Y)  <- should almost always happen

What happens?

It always does X... no matter... why exactly?!

Solution

X==0 and for in c++ NULL==0 if checking values >_>

ok then, let's check if something is stored at the memory address of X, &X==NULL

:yay: it works

Actually, scratch that, an int always has a value, if none was assigned, the value is random (why!?)
I guess I will from now on initialize all my integers as 0 at creation...

and &X actually returns the address of X, the thing stored in the address is accessed with * pointer, but that's no use on an int

Buddy: "Can you tell me what Medic equipment you need in Arma3?"

Me: "I have no windows installed, and I don't know it from my head"

Buddy: "Oh alright, I'll ask you when you have win10 installed"

Me: "Sure"

Buddy: "Ah, I'm so looking forward to playing it again"

Me: "Yeah me too"

Buddy: "Want to play a round right now?"
Me: "I have no windows!"

Buddy: "What?!"

>_> *facepalm* SRSLY!?

Less memory than a fish.

 *Someone tries to correct me, saying that Fish have big memories and blah, blah, blah. My bad jokes overrule your science*
