In the midst of his excitement, CaptnCtaM instantly forgets his counting duties. Eager to remind him, the bold Raritas strides forward to carry out Rising Shines key duties.

 

"Excuse me, Mr Captn" The protagonist bellows out, "You appear to have forgotten your numbers".

 

Clearly shocked with the sudden confrontation, CaptnCtaM resumed his duties, as to avoid further conflict from the Rising Shine that was inevitably going to follow.

Shocked and confused by this sudden revelation, our protagonist concedes defeat.

 

"I do apologise, I failed to realise the situation at hand".

 

As if by magic, Raritas returned to the rafters of the CtaM thread, sworn to protect the sanctity of the counting to all those not restricted to a mobile phone device.

"That's an interesting concept" The boy pondered. Was it a sign? A faint spark of inspiration? Or had this sudden outburst simply been the effects of severe lack of sleep? The truth is unclear. 

 

Aware this way of speaking may become irritable to his peers, our protagonist returned to his usual method of communicating to the outside world he called CtaM...

I'd like a 2 pound rye bread, he thought as he entered the bakery, while the woman behind the counter stared at him as if he were drunk

"A bakery? Interesting. A nice sandwich will suffice" Raritas realised. Gazing longingly into the shop window, his lips began to salivate at the rows of delicious and tatilising pastries which laid upon the counter top. 

 

His mind was made up. He made one quick stride and briskly opened the hard wooden door; a bell ringing as he entered. He was greeted with the adoring smell of freshly cut bread. Almost as if he was in a trance, Raritas' mind was snapped back to reality when I husky voice called out.

"Whatchu want then?", a balding man behind the counter grunted.

 

"What would I like, my dear fellow? Oh, all your pastries look simply divine. I couldn't chose just one! The doughnuts, the muffins... Oh the bacon rolls too! It's impossible to choose, if only I'd knew..."

 

"This is a bakery, not a bloody Shakespeare novel mate. Pick your bloody pastry and get out"

 

"I'll take the bacon roll please? Thanks" Our hero makes a brisk and victorious exit, bacon roll in hand.
