I'm reading this article about this gun created by Nazi Germany called Schwerer Gustav. It is probably the biggest gun I have ever heard of with the most ridiculous specs ever. The fully assembled gun weighed 1,350 metric tons. It could fire an 800 mm (no typo) shell that weighed 7 metric tons to a range of nearly 50 kilometers. 

 

Just think about how much of a blast that would be and how loud that gun was. That shell that weighed 7 metric tons was shot out of the barrel at about 3,000 km/h. 

 

Insanity.
