yes, but only to build stuff better. you dont get anything, that others cant get by playing normally. So you cant make a benefit in multiplayer or so

You can build an big ammount of weapons and equipments, also your own base and make all the stuff better, with new equipments and stuff. logically building stuff takes time, I guess, you can buy to build things faster, or so. didnt heard about unfair advantage when doing so. most players probaly playing the story mostly anyway
