Kidding aside, that does suck, but there are far worse fates to which you can succumb. Besides, it doesn't sound like it's official yet. They might still be releasing it there. Or it might just be a delayed release. Maybe they ran into compatibility issues.

It'd be a stupid move not to at least bring it to Xbone. That's a fairly large install base they're ignoring there. Maybe not as large on Vita, but Xbone is holding its own against PlayBox 4

I guess a lot of people would be annoyed if it didn't get a Vita release.

They specifically mentioned they don't know if it's coming to Vita. Not just that it's delayed. I already know it would be delayed, the PS4 version is confirmed but delayed, because they are ports of the PC version. I'm fine with a delay. I'd be less upset if for some reason they couldn't do it, like it simply wouldn't work, but just not doing it just because would be irritating.

 

 Vita is the only good portable version of Isaac. There's a 3ds version but the 3DS can't actually handle it so it crashes all the time apparently. There's also quite a few people who like playing that version, so yeah. They'd be ignoring a decent bit of the fanbase by not releasing it.

Well at least it's coming to PC. I know your laptop is probably on it's way out. You could build a pretty good Linux desktop for the cost of a mid range notebook if worse comes to worst.

 

Alternatively, the PS4 is pretty inexpensive right now too.

I have very little money, no way to get more money until I get a job, no idea how to build computers, have never used Linux before, plus I don't think I'd need that just to play a few indie games, would rather just stick to what I know.

Well there is the PS4. I'm finding them as low as $250 used which is pretty fair. You could save some money for a couple months or even try selling off a few things you don't need. That's how I built my pc on a pretty tight budget in college. Building is incredibly easy. If you can play with Legos, you can build. If you have the Windows product key for your laptop, you could actually deactivate it there and put it on the desktop and have Windows essentially for free. That can be a little involved though unless you have a sticker on your laptop with that key.

 

But really, the easiest and cheapest route would just be getting a PS4 if worse comes to worst.

I guess, still. I bought it on both Laptop and Vita, knowing me I won't enjoy playing the Vita version knowing I'm missing half the content, since I'm so picky about everything.

 

 I'd rather not one version of a game I bought become obsolete, let alone my favorite game.

 I know it might not happen, but it's an annoyance of mine. This is the second game I'm worried about this kind of thing happening for.
