When I was young my father always had a packet on him but I never liked them. Back then there was original and maybe aniseed flavours, being a UK brand they're fairly common over here, I was surprised you knew about them @DasCapschen 

I imagine the bad joke has been going almost as long as the product.

My dad always had them in his car, so every time we drove somewhere I'd just eat them like sweets

Cool, which flavour? My dad had Original, don't know if he used to have them when he was in the Merchant Navy.

Nice when you contradict yourself on your own website, looks like Aniseed was the second flavour and were either created/introduced in '75 or '77, so they're about as old as me

The FF history is quite interesting, for most of their history they were only sold in their home town.

Guess I didn't like the flavour, so have always been an Altoids person (date from the 1780s)

...plus I like the small tins, very handy for  storage. I keep my memory cards/sticks in one amongst other things.

......and I have a tin in my car and daughter will occasionally get one as I'm less concerned about her choking on them these days.

Went to Doc, came home made phonecalls & then doing some MTG stuff. Collected daughter from nursery and shopped for dinner. Playing with daughter, making dinner and a little TV. So an alright day thanks.
