 I have no idea what they're saying, and I don't even know where to start learning.

I have and have the capability to talk to offline friends, I have a couple of them in our homeschool circle, but for somehow I seem more confident when talking to them online (and more confident when it comes to CTAM friends), and slightly nervous when it comes to in person experience. I dunno, it's just me...

It is, if you be who you really are and be honest with people. Being fearful and timid only serves to make people want to avoid you. You just have to bite a bullet, take a leap of faith, and put yourself out there.

That's how I ended up with no friends Smash.

 

 I keep quiet and don't talk, people find that annoying. I start talking about stuff and people just want me to shut up. When I tried faking it and not acting like my real self was the only time anyone ever wanted to hang out with me.

I used to be really REALLY shy, like I couldn't even look at anyone much less talk to them. I ended up in counselling and on medication and even then it still took years of practising socialising to get to the level I'm at now.
