I really just don't think there is an easy. I can't get any kind of professional help without my family knowing, and we don't really have the money for that...

 

 Honestly, I feel like I just can't really talk about anything. I've tried life advice but every single time I've used that for anything it's just made me feel worse, talking about it here makes me feel bad for being too depressing, and the best you guys can do is just cheer me up and usually not help with advice...I kinda just feel trapped.

Don't worry about depressing us. I'd rather know your situation then have you keep it to yourself at the cost of making you feel worse about it. I apologise I can't offer any help, though...I know what you mean about not wanting to tell anyone. I don't really know how to go about informing my own parents how I feel and probably never will.

 

If it does perk you up, though, you should know you've been awesome in my book ever since I came here.

 I tend to get all sad like this on occasion, it's been happening a bit more often lately, but I should be back to feeling better soon enough. Really wish I knew how to deal with this kinda thing easier though.

I really enjoy talking here with text, but a lot of "Real" interaction is just more frightening/worrying/at the least agitating than anything else.

 

I know how this feels. I'm not very good at the whole face to face interaction. Ironically, that's my favorite way to be with people. Doing things and face to face interactions.

Seriously being caught up on everything really sucks sometimes lol I kinda have to be at work 8 hours to get paid, but when I have nothing to do there, I'm like, "Why am I even here right now? I could be doing something else right now!" lol

Yeah I guess so. But the way I get busy isn't a flat line. I do payroll for my department so my busy times aren't a constant normal type busy. I'll have about 1½ to 2 weeks where I've got pretty much nothing to do. But after that is over, it all piles up at once because the payroll life is all about deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. My whole work life revolves around deadlines. So I'll have about 2 or 2½ weeks where I'm busy and exhausted and grumpy and not sleeping right because I'll have a million things to do all at once. And then after it's over it's more down time lol

 

Today I sat in my office, counted to a million with you guys, listened to the same song on my iPod 100 times because I was too lazy to change the song, spun around in my chair a few times, went to a meeting, ate a quesadilla, killed off the fruity snacks in my drawer, read an article about tax brackets, did a couple money transfers, and went home for the weekend lol

 

And next week, I'll be working 9 to 12 hours at a time.

Oh don't get me wrong. I LOVE my job It's a good job and I work with great people. It's just a roller coaster ride lol I guess if I had to gripe about something it's that those days where I work past my regular hours, I don't get any extra pay or comp time for it. Ah, the joys of making a salary instead of a wage lol

 

And actually the pay is pretty good. I did go to college for this after all

 

And since I do have a degree they do expect more out of me even though I've never had a job before this one. 

 

We're not going to count the one month I worked at Sears to be a job. I was there for a month and then I quit.

You just kinda figure it out taking various electives. I took accounting as an elective. Funny thing is when I was 16, I explicitly said I could never have an office job. And I turned out to be an accountant. lol

By the way, dipping tortillas in soup is a good idea.
