Well I found the problem with my water. 

 

Remember when I lost power for a day and a half? I was running the vacuum and the microwave and the breaker flipped in the basement. Well I didn't know the breaker was in the basement. This time, I thought, "Maybe there's a water control system in the basement as well." I go downstairs and take a look. After a few seconds, I see a pipe with lots of T joints, and on those T joints are numbers - 1 through 8. I turn the handle on mine (5) to the left and I heard water flowing through it. It was filling up my toilet, which I flushed last night and have been flushing with the water I've been pulling from thin air (literally - I have a dehumidifier) since.

 

I mean, I don't mind if they work on the water system, but they need to be giving us a heads-up when there will be no water. I wonder if I was the only one who was off or what. But that's bullshit. I pay my rent. And my rent includes the water. So I don't think it's asking too much to let me know when I won't have water and when they're finished working on the system, to turn it the fuck back on. :okiedokielokie:

This isn't the first time it's happened. Once I had to miss a whole day of work because I didn't have water til 4 PM for the very same reason. 

 

The management at this place is starting to really piss me off. 

 

If I'm in a management position of an apartment building, I'm making sure that if I promise my tenants water, there will be water. Water is a basic freaking necessity.

That really freaking sucks Woona. Glad to hear it's been sorted out now though, maybe you should mention it to that landlord next time you see them. "Hmmm... My tenants really need water to live... Nah, I'm sure they'll be fine if I leave it off for a couple days for the lols".

I think it's the maintenance guy here. He's some kid. Looks like a total dumbass if you ask me. And no, it didn't get sorted out. I took matters into my own hands because it was driving me nuts.
