I wonder if Noctua fans don't kick it up a couple notches whenever things get hot....

Still better temps than my old FX-6300 with stock cooling.

Fan would run up to 4,000 RPM and it'd still be chilling in the mid 80s It kept trying to turbo to 4.1 GHz when I wanted it to stay at it stock 3.5

That was one of the things that pushed me toward Intel. The biggest complaint I had with my old AMD was the heat. I got a new cooler for it and it was blowing out utterly massive amounts of heat. On top of that, the airflow went from the bottom to the top rather than the front to the back. In other words, I had two airflow options: pull heat from the graphics card into the CPU cooler or shove heat from the CPU onto the graphics card. It just didn't make sense to me.

That's basically almost idle temps for me Woona.

So much for living in a tropical country pronto. :maud:

60°C is pretty much idle temps on my laptop. I don't know why it can't stay cool especially since it ran in the mid 30s to mid 40s when I first had it. Now it wants to crank the fan up to 3,000 RPM if I think about watching a YouTube video.

And I clean that thing out all the time.

By the way, Filly. How hot does it get on a normal summer day in Manila? Just curious :3
