Why don't I just run to the store and get a 2-liter bottle of Coca-Cola for like 3 bucks?

Having had a Sodastream machine back in the 80's?

I'm struggling to find quite what flavours.

I know there was "generic cola"

I know by being UK they also had Cadbury Schweppes, such as Tizer and Fanta.

I think I remember Dr Pepper and Coca-cola, but haven't seen anything concrete.

TBH, right now it's probably just a "This is so cool, everyone's gonna have one of these in the future, I have to be the first!" as the reason to get one :P

 

Which, I mean, I can see that, why would you want to get a 2 liter that you forget about, and then it goes flat, when you can make your soda fresh!

It's like a soda machine but smaller!

I don't even like Keurig for one reason - the K cups are non recyclable. So they are single use and then they get thrown in a landfill. Incredibly wasteful yet Americans eat these things up like big SUVs and double cheeseburgers. I do have a Keurig, but I've got three reusable cups you put your own coffee grounds into. So you just discard the used coffee grounds and wash the cup. But after learning I have high blood pressure, I've stopped drinking coffee. :P

And if you keep the lid on your bottle of Coke, it doesn't go flat quickly. :derp:
