The London Jets are a team in the fictional sport of "Zero G Football" in the comedy show Red Dwarf

The Young Ones was an early 80's comedy about the exploits of four students at the fictional Scumbag College (a Higher Education at the lower end of the scale)

We have a long running gameshow for HE students called University Challenge, the YO episode "Bambi" plays on this

A quirk of the show is that the two teams sit side by side but are displayed vertically

And the YO plays on this.

The show also features a pretty cool song (imho)

The character Lord Snot is played by Stephen Fry, who actually took part in the real UC whilst at Cambridge
