The cat's can be entered in competitions like fighting tournaments, races, and beauty pageants. There is millions of combinations of personality traits, and physical traits the cat's can have.

 

 It's some weird mix between realism, and ridiculousness. You can get things like flying cat's, zombie cat's, talking cat's and all sorts of strange things, but they all act like real cat's.

I suppose that's one way to put it. There are various other characters in the game that all want something from you. They all have their own stories you can progress through if you want. Though if you just want to build an army of cat's you can probably just do that.

I would only be interested in this game if it had online but their previous games are only single player so I can only assume that this one will be single player only as well.

It's probably going to be single player only. Isaac rebirth is set to have some form of local co-op, but that's the only multiplayer thing I think he's doing right now. Unless one of his secret projects is online.
