I figure that a more accurate idea of this thread's growth will provide a more accurate estimate of when we'll finish.  Fourteen years works on a linear growth from start to finish, but definitely not a nonlinear one.  In fact, my previous post's growth rate from just the number 10K makes the estimate about four years...

Edit: It's actually 3.97 years if you discount the number of posts left to go since that post.  And of course the estimate should be even less because the thread was still dragging a bit compared to where it is today.

Gyruss is right. The first few months of this game were so relatively slow compared to now, that we could pretty much start this rate of posts since.. Since... I'd have to say rising and equerio were responsible for the sudden increase, if I recall correctly .
