If I fall asleep, I'm out and won't wake up unless something or someone wakes me up. Which is why I try to go to bed right when I start falling asleep, because I could fall asleep in that spot and not wake up until the morning. Average is probably a 3.0 out of 4.0 (college). This varies per major of course. Engineering majors are probably averaging below a 3, while liberal arts and "easier" majors are probably higher.
