Normally though plushies come with like a $400 overhead, despite only actually taking around $40-$130 in materials. The fact that makers can charge whatever for their labour is what raises the price so much.

I think that I'd get something that allows me to teleport to wherever I wanted (even if I don't know the actual location, but instead a thing that I want to go to.)

Well, here's the thing. the really nice, show accurate ones are expensive for a reason. It takes time to not only prototype them, but also to keep making them, as well as material costs. Let's say your average custom plushie costs $200 or so. The average hourly wage in the U.S. is $16.21 an hour. Now, let's say that plushie takes 5 days to make, and maybe 4 hours a day are consumed to do so. That's $10 an hour, minus materials costs. Now given, there aren't any taxes taken out of that, but after taxes, working a normal day job is still $11 an hour net pay.
