Here's what I have so far:

 

Winter came early in Ponyville, as it was barely halfway through November. The weather crew worked their hardest to keep the frigid temperatures and snow at bay, to which Mother Nature obliged with force. The plants quickly withered away with each passing hour, as earth ponies of all sorts scrambled to save their harvests and gardens, all to no avail. Chaos ensued, with each and every pony hectically rushed to prepare for the oncoming early winter.

 

Yet, there were a few already prepared for the weather to some. Some even embraced the changing seasons, often experiencing boosts in business and productivity. Such was the case with one red stallion pegasus. The young, handsome pony worked day and night, often for days at a time, repairing cast iron heating stoves, fireplaces, and other appliances for those panicking and rushing around before winter’s onset.

 

“Alright Mrs. Cake, I have your stove right here, ready to keep you and your family nice and toasty for the winter,” Overdrive said to Mrs. Cake. The stallion’s appearance often gave other ponies an intimidating first impression. His spiked mohawk, tall and skinny build, and bright red coat didn’t exactly give the vibe of “friendship” off, but once somepony came to know him better, understood the gentle, kind spirit within that body.

 

“I know I quoted you that at first, the repair would be 35 bits. That being said, I found some spare parts for your stove, and it will only be a 25 bit repair,” Overdrive said, smiling in the process.

 

“Oh, I do appreciate it, Overdrive,” Mrs. Cake responded, “You’ve helped us so much before, and now with the discount, I can buy Pumpkin and Pound Cake more gifts for the holidays. Just for your generosity, the next time you come into Sugarcube Corner, the order’s on the house.”

 

He blushed. “You don’t have to do that, Mrs. Cake. Fixing things for ponies is something I enjoy doing. Anyway, I’ll make sure your stove is delivered by the end of the day. Tell Mr. Cake I said hello.” He received the bits from Mrs. Cake, and waved as she departed for Sugarcube Corner.

 

He then looked over at the clock. “8 o’clock,” he commented, “It’s getting late. Probably a good time to close shop for the night, and just relax for a little.” With that, he turned out the lights, locked the door, and headed into his home, attached to his workshop.

She had a really bad day today, and I guess that, coupled with all the pressure she was getting from all the needy, grabby, undeserving guys (Rising excluded) upset her to the point that she doesn't want anyone anymore.

 

Not only am I very upset right now (I am crying my heart out right now), but I am absolutely floored with all the people who caused this. We had something. It was clear we had something, but of course, I can't have the one girl I want to spend the rest of my life with.

 

I have to stay calm. I have to relax, I know. I have to get a grip on my emotions. I can't afford to scare her away.

Oh man ... I don't give up either, even when I have no chance anyway, I keep just writing with her, not pressure her like others. I can't draw, I can't just drive to her, I can't call her, but I will try. Like I said, probably you still have more chance, if she going to look again for somepony ..

I think, I should kinda give up on her ... I just can't do much for her, but Smash can. I feel sad to write this and so long I don't get a no, I still hope a little, but still, I start to think, he deserve it more. He does so much, he can call her, he could even drive to her and me? Writing here, hard when she is off/Barely replying. I still want to try, but he should get her ...

That's up to you Rising. But I don't think either you or Smash deserve it more, you've both been doing your best. Him being able to drive to her and things like that are pure luck. Not like you could control that.
