Oh, England has it's fair share of them too, don't worry

Not sure where I'd go to visit in America, though. The Grand Canyon looks incredible, but the cities look nothing like what we have here, New York is just... huge...

Feeling the America love right now in the thread XD

Kinda hard for me to describe, only actually been to London twice myself. I think the main part of London, where the tourist attractions and shops and everything important are, is actually quite small. London hardly has any skyscrapers, nothing like American cities have.

I dunno, I guess you could compare them quite well, but I just see New York as a sprawling metropolis, something London isn't really lol. It's still a really nice city though

Sorry, really bad explanation XD

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but the area in NYC is pretty small, too. Most tourist attractions are in Manhattan from 59th Street down to the Battery, plus the Statue of Liberty and the Staten Island Ferry.

That said, there are some good secondary cultural centers like Brooklyn (mainly Downtown Brooklyn and Williamsburg) and Jackson Heights (where it's said you can get almost any kind of ethnic food from anywhere in the world) that would be worth checking out if you were into that kind of stuff.

Most of the skyscrapers you see in other areas are purely commercial areas, like Long Island City and Jersey City.

If you're here in the summer, definitely check out Coney Island. I'd say that's the biggest attraction outside of Manhattan.
