Before Rising or the Mane 9, the CTAM was just an old cliched counting game that was kind of common during that time. 6 months later, Rising Shine joined the band, and started the whole greeting and constant conversations that shaped what the current CTAM has in mind. Then in a span of few months, we have The Snapp, gameangel147, equerio, Sir Jackleberry, Blue Eclipse, Retsam Rorrimeht, Rising Shine, and the god and goddess of CTAM of course Super80 Wolf and SparklingSwirls. They formed the group "The Mane 9" and pretty much used this place as where they would talk and do random stuff to each other. Then the others came; BasementPony, me, Pin Point, Cadance, Smash 'N Dash and all the other expanded this into a big rival to the General Chat Thread and its peasants.

 

That's some CTAM History (albeit poorly formatted and written. ) for you... :comeatus:

Unlike the General Chat Thread, we do everything from greeting and saying goodbye, roleplaying, touching Rising's used-to-be-waifu Dashie, getting free tea supply from Crimson, buying delicious stuff from Cadance Burger, feeding our equerios, eating Snapp's pet potato Steve, the'ing thing, the'ing that, whereismyhugefreakingequerio... *forgets to inhale dies from hypoxia*
