Hrmm, I think I have to start listening to Smashing Pumpkins. I mean, I've heard of them, but for some reason, never had the time to listen to them... *goes to YouTube*

 

I fanboy over this band. I just bought the latest two Pumpkins albums, Oceania and Monuments to an Elegy. The original lineup broke up about 15 years ago so really it's just Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins is more or less a name these days. But he still writes good music. What I like about him is that he makes an effort to keep everything different. Not many Pumpkins songs sound that alike.

I remember thinking the Equestria Girls designs looked really weird and unnatural when I first saw them in the previews...

 

 I think they look pretty good now though. Maybe not quite as cute as the ponies themselves, but still.
