Ace sighed in relief as he got up off the ground after finally managing to get himself and rebel onto the floating chunk of land, using his aggron like a rocket by convincing him to fire a hyperbeam at the ground while He was on his back, thus shooting them into the air and onto the island, but the impact was unexpected, he would've been crushed if it weren't for Rebel taking the impact at the last minute. Ace looked over at Rebel with a smile and patted him on the side as he stood up, "nice job Rebel! You really stuck that landing and saved my ass! But we can't rest until we find that nutjob and kick his ass! Let's go!" Said Ace exitedly before running off into a forest towards a large mountain in the center of the island. Rebel merely nodded in response and quickly followed Ace.

Tempest smirked as he looked up at the floating island. "Let's go, Lucario." He thought, glancing at the Lucario next to him.

The Lucario next to Tempest nodded and nodded. He two then used the surrounding trees to leap onto the island. They reached the surface and noticed the mountain in the center. "This shouldn't be to hard."

The young man smirked and returned his friend to his Pokeball. He then walked towards the mountain.

(Is it ok if Tempest and Lucario communicate via telepathy? It is canon, and would make things more interesting.)

Jay fiddled with his pokegear, trying to get a decent reception for its built-in map, despite the weather. "(I really should upgrade this thing.)" He thought to himself as his Muk looked at him with an impatient expression. "(Well, anyway, we need a way up there. But that's kind of an issue in itself. I mean, Muk can't fly. Yeah, we might be up shit creek without a paddle on this one.)"

OOC: No but really, how do I do this without a flying Pokemon?

Synthia looked across the water to her island destination, carrying under her arm a canoe. She'd managed to win it off of a cocky water-type trainer she'd found nearby. Setting sail, she paddle across the water, knowing it'd probably be one of the least challenging things she'd do. Landing at the island, she saw another trainer crash-land... Something, on the other side. Whatever that Pokemon was, she'd never seen it before. "Hey!" she called, running over, "Are you guys okay?"

Ace heard a voice and turned around to see a young girl dressed in dark clothes, with a worried look on her face. Ace smiled "were fine, we just had a rough landing, that's all. Hi, my name is Ace steel, and this is my partner Rebel, if you don't already know, he's an aggron, a large metal type pokemon." Rebel grunted and nodded. "so who are you?" asked Ace.

Jay withdrew his sludgy companion and kept walking, hoping for an idea to hit him out of the blue. A second later, he noticed a man with a Pidgeot standing outside a nearby building. He was fiddling with a fresh-outta-fuel lighter, in a hopeless attempt to light a cigarette. "(Worth a shot.)" Jay shrugged. He walked up to the man and with a friendly smile said "Hey bud. Need a light?" Jay produced a lighter from his pocket and held it out. "Much appreciated," the man said. "Hey, no problem. I know how frustrating that situation can be." He turned his gaze to the man's partner. "Nice Pidgeot. Train it yourself?" "Yeah. I usually don't have him out during work hours. Company policy. But I figured he needed some fresh air," the man added. "Well that was nice of you. Say, can you do me a huge favor? See that chunk of land up there? Can you give me a lift, by any chance?" Jay asked. "What do I look like, a cabbie? Sorry pal, you're askin' the wrong guy." Jay thought for a moment and pulled out a twenty from his wallet. He wasn't too fond of using his tip money on something like this, but it was for a good cause. "Well... I SUPPOSE I could. Maybe." the man said. "I'll buy you a beer sometime," Jay said with a smirk. "Alright, kid. Deal. As long as we get back before my lunch break's over." The man climbed on the back of his Pidgeot and gestured for Jay to climb aboard.

(It won't let me quote you)

She smiled, "My name's Synthia Shade, and this is Shadow. It's a pleasure to meet you!" She happily extends a hand for him to shake. She looks him over, and came to the conclusion that he was determined. Whatever was driving him was strong. Strong-willed trainers often have strong Pokemon. Maybe I won't have to try to save the world by myself after all! "So are you here for the tournament too?"

Tempest decided to explore the island, before heading to the castle. He noticed a group of two trainers and decided to talk to them. "I was hoping I wouldn't be the only trainer on this bloody rock." He said, as he noticed Ace and Synthia. "Anyway, you can just call me Tempest."

Horus had walked as close as he could get to the ominous floating island, watching it closely and mentally preparing himself for anything he and his Hydreigon, Visage, might have to face once there. The three headed dragon did the same, letting out small growls and snapping the teeth of its other two heads.

"Now's the time Visage, I trust you're ready."

Hydreigon let out a determined growl and spread out the six strange appendages on its furry, scaled back. The trainer jumped onto its back and gave the signal for the three headed pokemon to begin its flight. After several minutes, the two arrived at the floating island.

"We're here now," Horus said before jumping off Visage's back. Landing in a type of secret agent position, Horus quickly stood upright and scanned the surroundings. A few shadows shifted in the forests of the island, but otherwise, Horus' instincts told him nothing was going to push its look getting close with Hydreigon nearby. The three headed dragon let out a growl to alert its trainer to other individuals on the island; a trainer with an Aggron and another with an Umbreon.

"We aren't the only ones then..."

Ace smiled and shook Synthia's hand, "that's right! We're here to kick that void guys ass and prove how strong we really are! This tournament is just what we need to get our names to be famous! So how about you? Are you in it for fame? Or peace? Or like me, both?" Asked Ace with a smirk, but frowned and turned to see two new trainers approaching them, "damn am I popular..." thought ace. After a few minutes of rain getting in his eyes and several close-calls with lightning bolts, the Pidgeot finally made it to the floating chunk of earth. After hopping off, Jay turned back and gave his thanks. "Oh, and about that beer..." "Hey, don't worry about it, kid. I haven't had that much fun with ol' Pidgeot here in a long time. Good luck with whatever you're planning!" The man gave a quick wave and disappeared into the thick clouds surrounding the island.

Jay gave out a quick sigh, calling out his trusty Muk once again. The plants around it immediately wilted. "(Well that's outta the way. ...Now what? I really should've thought this through. ...Ballsack.)"

"Fame?" Horus called out to Ace. "That's cute, a world threatening idiot is hosting a tournament which will most likely get anyone here hurt and one of the main reasons you're here is fame? I had hoped that the trainers coming here would be more mature than that, though obviously that isn't the case."@,

Tempest glanced at Horus and smirked. "It seems that we're on the same page." He said, before looking at the aggron and umbreon. "Dark, steel, and rock. All weak to fighting. This shouldn't be to hard." He thought. The young trainer then released Ike.

The Lucario glanced at Ace's and Synthia's pokemon, before shrugging.

Ace glared at Horus and scoffed, "hey, I said both fame and peace didn't I? So next time why don't you shut your trap and listen to what I have to say before running your mouth, okay douchbag?" Asked Ace rhetorically before giving horus the fingar and smirking confidentally.

"Ha, immature and hotheaded? You shouldn't be too much of a problem should you become a nuisciance," Horus responds with a cross of his arms. Hydreigon snaps all three of his jaws as well. The duo studied the pokemon and trainers that were currently in the area. All looked reasonably strong, and Horus and Hydreigon knew that Tempest and Lucario would be the most troublesome to deal with as of now, should they ever have to.

"Despite the challenges these could all present, I trust that Hydreigon and I will be able to overcome whatever limits there are and ravage anything in our path. We have ferocity, but also honed tactics that would make even the Elite Four be wary and hesitant..."

Ace laughed and patted Rebel on the side, "I shouldn't be a problem huh? That's rich! Me and Rebel could easily kick both you and your little hydreigon's asses any day of the week! Hell, if it wasn't for the fact that I might get disqualified, I would kick your ass right here, right now! Isn't that right Rebel?!" Asked Ace, Rebel then roared loudly in agreement.

"Cute. Talk all you want, we'll turn your pride into humility when the time comes. Until then, boast and sneer all you want, it really won't change the fact that you and that fossil are as brittle as pencil lead."

Hydreigon snarled at the two before turning his attention to the other trainers and pokemon.

Tempest rolled his eyes. "This might be more entertaining than I thought. It also seems that I'm not the only trainer from Unova." He thought, noticing Horus and his dragon. The young man then shrugged and continued walking to the mountain.

Ike noticed his trainer leaving and glanced at the umbreon, hydregion, and the arron. "Watch your back." He said, before following Tempest.

The two eventually reached the mountain and waited for the others.

"Guys! Save the fighting for the tournament! We might not have a Pokemon Center here, and we have to be willing to work together so that the strongest person here can be that Void guy! And for the record, my mother used to tell me that those who call others childish are often childish as well."

Instead of getting angry at horus's insult, Ace merely smirked and turned his back on horus, "we'll see about that..." said Ace before turning to Synthia, "do you wanna come with me to the mountain? Or stay here with this tool? Either way, its your choice... come on Rebel..." said Ace before throwing his hood over his head and walking towards the mointain, Rebel following close behind.

"Hmph, perhaps you're right. I'll take my leave for now to give some time to settle down. Visage!"

Hydreigon growled as he flew towards Horus and swiped him up onto its back, flying off towards the jungles of the island. There, they found several powerful pokemon and began to battle with them, Visage defeating all of them with virtually no damage to his own being. The two then rested for a while, before Horus finally got up.

"It's time we head over to that mountain we're supposed to go to. Ready?"

Hydreigon, now fully rested, immediately snapped up and roared, obviously prepared and eager.

Locke had had a tough time getting to the island. Watson wasn't a couldn't fly, and the few friends that Lock had didn't have flying types. He had tried to have Watson levitate up there, but Locke couldn't hold on to the Gengar. He managed to get a hot air balloon ride up to the island. He knew it would be pretty embarrassing to show up there like that, but luckily he had arrived a ways away from everyone, so noone saw him. He began walking towards the group, but shied away and just sat under a tree.

Synthia looked down, "Umm, I guess, I'll go with you. But it isn't very nice to call people tools. You should try not to throw them around..." She follows him, and Shadow followed her. She looked back at the others apologetically and waved good bye. "So, ummm, Ace, where are you from?"

Locke saw the others moving and slowly began walking towards them. He made sure to stay behind so he would be less noticable. But who was he kidding. He was several inches taller everyone else in the group. Why do I have to stand out so much? WHy couldn't I be short instead of freakishly tall? Watson sensed Locke's feelings and patted his back softly.
