Lightning smiled down at her friends, and waved at them. She sped up and did a jump while she was flying, and still manged to keep her speed. She smiled, and did something that surprised her friends- She flew upside down backwards. Lightning smiled at the jaw-dropped crowd and shot up into the air, doing various advanced twirls.

Frost clapped his hoofs together. "Well my lady, I am now dazzled." he said as he stood up and cheered. "There yah go Lighting! Show these ponies what your made of!" he yelled at her clapping louder than before and letting out a few whoops and hoots here and there.

Lightning blushed, and suddenly she stopped in midair. She stayed like that for a few minutes, but then she grabbed hold of her right hoof with her left hoof; propelled herself up into the sky, and in a few short seconds she was hovering reguarly in the sky. Lightning giggled at what she saw though, her trail had made the shape of her cutie mark.

Frost laughed at the trick. "I said show them what your made of, but I think you took it a little to seriously." he said laughing uncontrolably. "Now I know why your the best at what you do." he thought to himself continuing to clap and cheer. "That's the way to do it!"

Keen looked up at all of Lightning's flying in awe. He had never really seen much flying action besides when his brother would practice. But this was very unique! "Wow! Lightning sure is good at this isn't she? I can't believe she actually said it wasn't special." he said, not to anypony in particular.

Epic watched her roommate soaring through the air. She was stunned by the trick where Lightning's trail was in the shape of her cutie mak. "Wow," she said. "That was pretty cool, but it's nothing compared to this." She sprang up into the air and flew fast towards the field. She did a super sonic-speed corkscrew through the air and made a Sonic Rainboom in the shape of her cutie mark, a heart. "Whaddya think of that," she said, landing back in her seat. "Was that awesome or what? I mean, not to brag, or show off. And, I'm not trying to show up Lightning or anything; she's my roommate and friend I wouldn't wanna hurt her feelings. But, was that amazing or was it just me?"

"I agree, Keen. She is really good and I don't know how she could say otherwise." Nova replied as she watched Lightning preform her tricks. Out of the corner of his eye, Nova saw Epic get up and quickly fly across the field, where she showed off a couple of her own moves. After she came back, she sat down in her seat and asked "Whaddya think of that?" 

 

"That was great Epic, you've got some great moves of your own too. But...maybe next time you could wait until Lightning is finished?" He asked kindly.

Epic blushed and rubbed the back of her head with her hoof. "Oh," she said, awkwardly. "Right. Sorry, I just thought I could...I don't know what I was thinking." She sighed and looked at the ground. "I feel ashamed," she cried. She cried and sobbed for a couple seoconds and said, "Alright I'm over it."

"Epic..." Nova sighed, and moved over to where she was sitting. "There's no need to get like that about this...it was just a simple mistake...happens to the best of us. The only reason I asked is because it looked as if you were trying to steal the 'show' from Lightning, who we came to watch. I know wasn't your intention; you just wanted to show us what you could do. There's nothing wrong with that." He smiled and gave Epic a big hug.

Snowglobe laughed, she was enjoying herself.

Epic stuck her tongue out playfully. "Thanks, Snowglobe," she said. "It would actually be pretty cool if you could fly. You would make for a gret flying buddy!" Epic Rainbow giggled and cheered for Lightning.

"At some point in time you and your parents are bound to clash over what direction you want your life to go. Not everypony aspires to be whatever their parents want them to be. Sometimes you just have to go your own separate ways to do whatever it is that you want to do. As a pegasus that doesn't have a 'traditional' talent, I've always felt alienated from my peers because I have a talent more suited to a unicorn or an earth pony. Pegasi are supposed to be good at flying or fighting, they say. Not fixing and engineering things. I never knew what my parents wanted me to be...but that's another story.

 

Anyway, I would suggest that you don't listen to anyone that tries to tell you that you're no good at flying or that it's 'too predictable'. So what if it is? If you're good at something and you like doing it, I say go for it." He smiled.

"My parents died when I was just a foal...my next of kin, even though not related, we're Vinyl Scratch and Octavia...two very good friends of my parents. I like to call them my parents even though their not." he said blushing

"Well I appreciate that you trust us enough to tell us something like that, both you and Frost. I can't exactly say that I've been through the same thing as you two have, but I can understand not knowing your parents, I never really knew my parents either." Nova said the last part quietly, abstractly 'drawing' on the ground with his hoof.

Epic looked surprised, but then thought a moment and realized that Lightning had unknowingly implied it. "Lightning," she laughed. "You do realize that you kept mentioning your 'non-bio parents' right? By saying that a bunch of times, you unknowingly implied that you're adopted. I kind of knew it the entire time. Although, I'm still flattered that you had enough trust in all of us to tell us that."

"Your awesome in flying Lightnin'. And you too Epic." Snowglobe said. My what should I say? They had so much confidence ins aying that to their newly met friends. I should speak up about it too. "You guys have so much confidence in telling us that, you know we kinda just met." Snowglobe said. "I, nevermind." Snowglobe smiled at her new friends.

Sadie used her teleporting spell to get to Cloudsdale University. "Ah, here it is. The legendary Cloudsdale University." Sadie squealed, "Lets see, dorm room 5,6,7,8,9... Ah! Dorm room 10" Sadie used her unicorn powers to open the door, "Oh! Hello, I didn't realize I would have a roommate!" Sadie suddenly realizes that her roommate was having trouble opening their saddle bag, "Oh! Let me help." Sadie lifted the saddle bag with her unicorn powers off her roommate's back and put it on a bed an opened it, "There. Oh! I'm Sadie, what's your name?" ((OOC: By the way, I'm talking to Stardream))
