Whiplash breathed heavily as she was pinned to the floor, not being able to move. She knew Crimson had powerful magic, but she had no idea he could do all this. "You're..strong..." she panted to Crimson, still struggling to move. "Think Whiplash, Think!" she commanded herself. There was only one strategy left that she knew of, but the pegasus was hesitant to use it. The attempt could easily kill her or decapitate her in the process, but did she really have any other choice? The pegasus strained her head, holding her ever presenr dagger in her teeth. Whiplash knew this would be her last attack, for by the time it was over, she would be completely drained.

 

The mare began to focus on the dagger, drowning out everything else around her. She closed her eyes, mustering her energy. For the last time, a heavy wind surrounded Whiplash and Crimson, picking up a blinding speed. Debris flew everywhere, hitting both ponies. Finally, she whispered, "Release!" The wind suddenly sparked with electricity and turned into a massive funnel, plowing straight into Crimson, knocking him out of the arena, while simultaneously shocking his nerves. Whiplash shrieked as she felt some her bones break with all the energy, and the pegasus layed her head down, barely breathing.

Crimson felt himself get thrown violently out of the ring from a massive tornado, sending him many feet out of the range of the ring, while at the same time, causing crimson massive pain. "Gah! F-fuck...this is unexpected...she's strong...I'm actually beginning to black out...damn ragestar's weakness!" Crimson then growled and shook his head, "dammit! I can't give up! The ponies of equestria will die if I lose! I'm not giving up!!" Yelled crimson before using the last of his magical energy to rocket himself back into the arena. Crimson rolled as he hit the arena floor, panting from the effort, he then quickly went over to whiplash, but instead of gloating or flirting, he was serious, "are you ok? Your pretty strong...I'm about to black out...are you finished? Or do you still want to fight?" Asked crimson as he kneeled next to whiplash.

Whiplash snapped her gaze to Crimson, amazed that he could still stand. "he's so powerful, more powerful than anyone else i've faced" she thought. Whiplash coughed up blood, before panting, "I..don't think I..can.." Her breathing slowed down as pain throbbed through her body. That attack had drained so much from her body, and now she was letting all her friends and family down. "I'm not strong enough" she thought, struggling to crawl onto her hooves. Whiplash slowly got up, chest aching. "This fight goes..to you..Crimson Grinn," she huffed quietly.

Crimson nodded, "that's all I needed to hear..." said crimson before picking whiplash up and sliding her onto his back. Crimson quitely winced in pain from the overexertion, but still kept standing, "hey ref, you heard the hottie, I won, so I'm done for now...I've gotta get her to the infirmery..." said crimson seriously.

Whiplash flushed and slid herself off of his back, her legs shaking. "At least give me the chance to walk on my own legs," she muttered, wincing at the pain making her body throb. The pegasus was ashamed of her loss. What was she supposed to tell everybody at home? That she was too weak to save them? The pegasus didn't blame Crimson for anything, she couldn't.

Crimson gave her a concerned look, "you've lost too much energy and are too injured to stand, please don't overexert yourself...if you do, you could kill yourself cutie..." said crimson with a kind smile, but wasn trying to hide his own injuries and pain from her, trying not to hurry her.

Whiplash sighed and reluctantly leaned on to Crimson's shoulder as they made their way to the informary. Even as she felt like she was about to pass out, the mare frankly enjoyed it. "So, I assume those dinner plans are still on, lover boy?" she asked with a playful and pained grin.

Crimson chuckled and grinned happily, "sure cutie, but first you have to rest up and heal, then we can go on that date, I'll even pay, do you know any good resturaunts in canterlot or ponyville?" Asked crimson as he slowly led whiplash to the infirmery. Once they reached it, crimson motioned for her to lay down on a bed and rest.

Whiplash laughed as she gingerly laid down, her entire body aching. "I'll let you pick this tims, lover boy," she smirked, coughing. Her vision began to get blurry as she felt fatigue settle onto her body. The mare groaned as she was about to pass out, her head swirling in circles.

Crimson smiled as he walked over to the side of a bed, "great, I'm in the mood for some hay pizza, I may change my mind later on, but for now I'll keep an open mind on our cuisine choices when we wake up...gah!" Said crimson before passing out and slumping on the bed unconciess.

Crimson smiled as he walked over to the side of a bed, "great, I'm in the mood for some hay pizza, I may change my mind later on, but for now I'll keep an open mind on our cuisine choices when we wake up...gah!" Said crimson before passing out and slumping on the bed unconciess.

Juri walked onstage. "Well, Whiplash is down and has been for more than ten seconds. I say that makes Crimson Grimm the winner!"

 

"Hmmmm. All that talk and he didn't even get the kill!" Mason scoffed from the box seats. He forgets what makes this tournament dark!"

"Attention! Nuclear Neurotic and Frost Typhoon, Report to the third arena floor! You are on deck."

 

Nuclear paled hearing her voice on the intercom. 'W-well here we go...' she thought,

The fearful unicorn stood up and glanced at the other fighters before making her way to the arena.

 

'I can do this....I can do this...I have a few other tricks I haven't used....I can do this...'

She entered the arena, biting her lower lip.

"This is getting exiting!" Topaz announced. "You could cut the tension in the air with a seven foot samurai sword! It's the fourth and last mach to decide who enters the semi finals and its about to be underway!"

 

The ref nodded to both fighters and motioned for the fight to start. "BEGIN!"

Frost nodded at the ref and ran at Nuclear. He split his clones and doubled the number three times over. "Alright, Sea of Fists!" he yelled as each of his clones split from the group going left, right, straight, and up, coming in for seperate punches. "Good start." his other soul nodded in approval.

"We've all seen Frost deploy that clone technique from earlier on in the tournament," Topaz narrated. "But it doesn't seem to be nearly as effective as it was in the last battle! Nuclear looks like she's done this before!"

Frost knew if that attack didn't work there was a fallback. He had time to build up a wall out of the floor to temporarily shield him from the blast. When the blast was over he muttered "Soul bomb." When this happened what was left over from all the clones formed into a glowing ball in from of Nuclears face. Frost chuckled. "Boom." he said as the power of the souls computed in a huge explosion. "No killing." he reminded himself

Nuclear's eyes widened in the few seconds the bomb had been created. 'Damn it!'

 

"'Duck and Cover! Duck and Cover!" she yelled, squeezing her eyes tightly. The radiation field around her glowed brightly, blocking most of the damage but managing to send her a few feet away into a small crater.

 

"Ugh...that sure was a big explosion..." She shook her head before looking at Frost. "Impressive!" Nuclear complimented.

 

"But I KNOW I can upstage you!" Nuclear challenged, taking off towards Frost.

 

'I'm probably not going to win...but I need to at least get in close enough to do some damage...'

 

Her footwork was pretty quick for a pony that hadn't trained in combat professionally, even as she sent a succession of blast waves towards Frost, creating cracks in the ground.

Icy decided to pay Crimson a little visit.

She saw him passed out on the ground. Knowing him he should be ok. Whplash should also be ok. Crimson wouldn't hurt her that badly.

"I just wanted to say that... you did well out there" She knew he couldn't hear her since he was passed out.

"I...yeah" she left before she said anything stupid.

Frost was hit by two blasts knocking him back a few feet, but before the lasts blasts could hit him he looked up and smirked "Thrust" he chuckled as he propelled himself through the blast with a pillar from the floor. and out the other side to deliver a punch to the face.

Whiplash tiredly cracked an eye open as she saw Icy begin to leave the room. "Hey!" she called, struggling to lift a hoof in greeting, although Whiplash was sure she didn't hear her. The pegasus's body was aching everywhere, and a few of her bones were still broken.

Icy looked back to see Whiplash raising her hoof at her. He was somewhat surprised to see her moving.

"Hello" she said "So feeling better after that fight?" Icy looked around to see no nurses

"I know some healing magic. I could heal you if you wanted, but you will feel very cold" She raised her hoof and a small pure, white, ice crystal appeared.

Crimson cracked his eyes open just in time to see icy talking to whiplash, "thanks icy...that means a lot to me...after yoir done helping whiplash, Why don't you stick around and talk?" Asked crimson weakly as he got up and leaned on a nearby bed for support, trying to hide his pain.

Icy still held the Crystal when she heard crimson talk

"Well good to see you up and awake" She thought about what to say to him

"That fight must have taken more out of you then I thought. You must be getting old" she said closing her eyes and a smirk on her face.

Whiplash grinned at Crimson. "Finally awake, huh?" she laughed. The pegasus nodded at Icy. "That would be great, thanks!" she replied warmly, wincing at a pain in her side. "Everything hurts" she thought herself as she tried to move in a more comfortable position.
