Sole chuckled "sorry rune, but I don't think one spell is gonna cut it... I'm messed up pretty bad." He said, before coughing up more blood and sighing "dammit... And on top of that I've got zero magical energy left in my body. Even if I had a full days rest, I wouldn't have enough energy for the fight tomorrow." He admitted "I need to find a way to regenerate my chaos energy... And soon." He said.

"I know nothing about chaos energy." Rune admitted. "But I have a copied technique called the Spirit Restoration (basically the spirit wave) it will restore your body and quicken it's regeneration of magical and body energy. The physical healing will be very painful for a short time." He balanced himself on the tip of one hoof and swayed from side to side. He closed his eyed and smiled. He was acting like a child again. "It'll be kinda like what it felt like when you got the injuries. Just ten times more painful."

Sole grinned "bring it on! If if can restore my magic, and help me kick masons ass, then I'll do it." He said without hesitation.

(That was Genkai, and no, that was the spirit wave orb, a variation of the spirit wave. That requires giving up your own power to give to someone else. Rune is too selfish for that. This is just a restoration technique.)

 

A green sphere formed in his right hoof. "This will realign your shattered bones." He said. "I'm no doctor, but I assume this is gonna hurt." He waved the sphere along Soles various fracture points and waited for it to take effect. The chipped fragments of bones splattered across Soles innards began to move back into place and form together.

((yes... But he cheated lol)) sole cursed and flinched a bit as the healing did its job, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as the first time. After rune was finished, sole was about to thank him just as he watched him drop to the ground. "Damn!" He cursed, before picking him up "c'mon, stay on your feet. It wasn't that hard was it?" Rune yawned, bags had formed under his eyes. "It feels like I've been awake for a strait year." He said, barely exaggerating. "I have lost a great deal of energy. I will require hibernation to get it back." He collapsed under his own weight and started snoring.

sole sighed and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of flower "yeah... You and me both kid. Thanks..." He said, before turning to stone "alright beautiful, I think I can stand by myself now. Just go find a place to sleep, I'll meet you there after I take rune to the infirmary." He said, as he walked away. Even with the healing though, he was totally exhausted and sore. And frankly, he felt like shit. "Oh well... Nothing a night with stone won't fix." He mumbled with a grin.

If Mason wins, I'll have all I need to finish it. If Sole wins, everything stays the same. I find it rather exiting. I've taken the entire fate of the world into this one little battle good versus evil. Black and white, it's much more fun like that." He removed his cigarette and made eye contact with her. "Masons backstory is another interesting factor. He used to be exactly like Sole in nearly every way. If he could see what he's turned into now, he'd be disgusted. Now he's become the perfect representative of evil in my little metaphor."

As Whiplash continued to worriedly watch over Crimson, she poked her head out of the infirmary, seeing Sole carrying another pony. She raised her hoof in a quick greeting before going back inside. "How is he walking?" She thought, remembering the nasty wounds he had gotten. The Pegasus grinned. Hopefully, he was healing, and that meant he would beat Mason.

 

Whiplash gazed at the beeping monitors surrounding Crimson, and continued to sit. It didn't matter how long it would take, she would be at his side when he woke up.

As Whiplash continued to worriedly watch over Crimson, she poked her head out of the infirmary, seeing Sole carrying another pony. She raised her hoof in a quick greeting before going back inside. crimson was in a deep sleep, yet could feel everyones energy around him. whiplashes energy seemed to be a bit dim and full of worry, "she really DOES care about my worthless hyde...I cant believe it...and another thing that surprises me is that sole has been healed somhow...well whatever, he wont really need all of that energy just to kick rails ass...I hope sole breaks his damn jaw...but first..ive gotta wake try and wake up, whiplash looks like she needs me...I hope this works..." thought crimson, using what energy he had left to use a healing spell to restore himself just enough energy to wake up. crimson leaned up in his bed and groaned, "uunh...damn that hurt...but at least im alive..." crimson then looked at whiplash with a tired grin, "hi there cutie, miss me' asked crimson weakly.

Stone threw her forelegs up "UGH...." She said walking out of the arena and to the hotel. "Stupid tournament......stupid stupid stupid" she said angrily while stomping her hooves at ever step she took. She was not in a very good mood. And she didnt want to be in the arena anymore.

Sole laid rune on an empty bed in the infirmary, and made sure that the doctors knew he needed rest. "Dammit kid... You pushed yourself too far. Just like that idiot crimson... And that idiot me." He mumbled, before sighing as he walked out. He quickly walked back toward the hotel that stone had went to. After asking for her room number, he went up and walked in. "Hey stony... I'm back." He said cheerfully, before grinning widely. He'd missed his wife so much... He'd never lose her again.

Whiplash snapped her gaze away from the flashing monitors after hearing Crimson's voice. She was filled with immense relief, just hearing him talk made her happy. "You're pretty dumb, you know that?" Whiplash laughed. "But for the record, yes, I did. Don't scare me like that," she said, remembering how scary it was seeing Crimson on the ground all bloody.

crimson smiled and chuckled tiredly, "sorry about that, but I just had to try my hardest to defeat sole...and I still failed...im sorry whiplash...im sorry I didn't win...now its because of me that rail is gonna destroy equestrian! sole has no idea about his plan! if we don't warn that idiot soon..." said crimson worriedly as he attempted to climb out of bed but instead fell to the floor and coughing up some blood. crimson growled angrily, "DAMN IT! im still too injured from my fight with sole to even walk!" said crimson in embarrassment and disappointment.

Whiplash gently nudged Crimson back into bed with a stern look. "First of all, don't even think about moving, you need to rest. Second of all, why are you apologizing? You should've seen yourself fighting out there, I've never seen a stronger pony," she said with a slight smile. "Sole will find out about Rail's plans, hopefully. So right now, just rest."

The next morning Rune was no longer inside of the medical ward. He must have left some time during the night. The stadium was packed once again. Fans were roaring at the tops of their lungs for the match to start, but neither of the competitors were in the arena.

 

Topaz was going to announce that if they didn't show up, they would be disqualified, but she couldn't move. She knew her father well. He wouldn't have done this unless he had something planned. It was starting to make sense, all of her father's hoarding of money. He wanted to do something with it.

Sole soon arrived in the stadium looking like he'd been through some rough training, and truth be told he didn't even sleep at all last night. But it didn't seem to phase him, as he confidently walked into the arena and began to stretch. For some reason he was wearing wristbands on all four of his legs. "Looks like this is it. All I need to do is kick masons ass, and save the day." He mumbled to himself "I just hope that my training has been worth it..." He said, as he waited for his opponent.
